Capítulo 1997: Chapter 30: The Assessnt!

Jia Da was uncertain whether Jia Yan would go to that Gathering Place of Controllers, and he was reluctant for Jia Yan to go, because if he did, he would either die or be severely injured and have to flee. In that case, the four brothers would be finished.

“Oh? There’s no one stronger than that guy there?”

Upon hearing this, Jia Yan already had a conclusion in his mind.

To him, it was all like a gamble. If he lost, the strongest ones there would be just that arriving strong one. Even if there were more strong ones, Jia Yan had thought about it; relying on his Subspace Talent, escaping should not be a problem.

Therefore, at this mont, Jia Yan was prepared to go to the site of the evaluation.

“I’ve decided. If I participate in your so-called evaluation, and as long as I pass, then I will rightfully beco a Controller here, correct?”

Jia Yan asked indifferently.

“That’s right, sir. If you wish not to be hunted by our Controller Organization, this is the best way.”

The strongest of the arriving creatures nodded to Jia Yan.

“Alright, then I’ll take part in the evaluation.”

Jia Yan seemingly didn’t care at all about what the strong one said, surprisingly agreeing.

“Lord, you can’t go there; going there ans certain death by their encirclent.” Jia Da expressed complete inability to accept Jia Yan’s intention to go to the Gathering Place of Controllers.

“My decision gives you no reason to object, but you four don’t have to go.”

Jia Yan calmly said this.

Upon hearing Jia Yan say they four brothers didn’t have to go, suddenly, the four creatures fell silent.

Especially Beetle Two, who was joyous; in this mont, he hoped for nothing more than Jia Yan dying at the hands of the Controllers.

But the other beetle creatures felt complicated, knowing that if Jia Yan went to the Gathering Place of Controllers, it was certainly a dangerous outco. Yet, if Jia Yan died, what good ending would they have?

The answer was definitely no good ending. Their choices would either be pleading for rcy, though likely dying, or beginning to flee. And in this city, trying to escape the Controller Union’s hunt would be near impossible.

So they were also helpless; even though they helped Jia Yan, forced or not, the fact they had killed so many territory strong ones couldn’t be denied. They had to endure the consequences.

“Since the esteed guest is willing to co with us, let’s go.”

The two controllers were sowhat surprised by Jia Yan’s agreent; at this mont, they wondered if this Jia Yan was a little foolish.

The strongest controller initially aid to disrupt Jia Yan’s mind, but didn’t expect Jia Yan to follow without doubt, causing a bit of suspicion about Jia Yan’s mindset.

However, regardless of Jia Yan’s mindset, as long as he agreed to go to the Gathering Place of Controllers with them, they would notify a group of controllers to encircle and kill him. Whether he was foolish or not, death would end all matters.

“Let’s go.”

Jia Yan smiled slightly; how could he not know the controller’s plan?

But all plans and calculations are aningless before strength.

Jia Yan believed that with his strength, even if faced with these creatures, he would certainly have the ability to escape. Therefore, at this mont, he felt no fear of dying at the Gathering Place.

anwhile, the four beetle creatures exchanged glances and dared not follow.

To them, having been dragged by Jia Yan into battle, despite Jia Yan’s performance making them feel his strength was more than it seed, they did not believe Jia Yan had the terrifying ability to fight against all at the Gathering Place of Controllers.

“Even if Lord had that ability, he certainly couldn’t protect us. Going there would be nothing but a burden.”

Jia Da addressed his brothers in such words.

The other beetle creatures understood but felt it was sowhat unkind, so they remained silent.

Their current mindset was completely unnecessary for Jia Yan.

He himself might not be able to withdraw safely from over there. These creatures, whose combat power couldn’t match that of a single controller beetle, he naturally didn’t want them along; otherwise, he would have to care for them, becoming a hindrance for Jia Yan.

Under such conditions, Jia Yan gradually began to understand the composition of this city.

The controllers’ status and the division of levels among this group of creatures, through these battles, Jia Yan slowly ford a clear concept.

The Giant Tribe was definitely at the top, yet inside this city, they still had their tier system. Giants with lesser status still lived bitterly within the city.

Next was the Controller Union, which likely had formidable individuals, possibly even those who could converse with giants. Otherwise, why would giants tolerate such an alien alliance in the Giant Tribe’s city?
