Capítulo 2258: Chapter 22: The Tournant Begins!

“Well, if you are from Jia’s family, you must have Jia’s family computation code, right? Please show it. Rest assured, it’s just a formality. We hope you understand our concerns.”

The Semi-permanent Star Level strongman, although extrely respectful to Jia Rong, still had to follow the formal process. After all, the possibility that enemies might use this thod to infiltrate the Orion Arm couldn’t be entirely excluded.

“Okay, I’ll show you.”

The creature claiming to be Jia Yan’s son displayed a certain set of coded passwords to the Semi-permanent Star Level strongman.

This password is a code jointly developed by Jia’s family or Earth’s Alliance with the Orion Arm. It’s not exclusive to Jia’s family; in fact, all creatures inside the Orion Arm possess it. Everyone has a unique computation style and code, linked to the main server of the Alliance. Across the universe, identical codes are nearly impossible to find, and even if they appear, they change in trillionths of a second, making forgery virtually impossible.

“Uh, this is indeed Jia’s family code. You must be Lord Jia Rong, the only offspring of Lord Jia Yan? Welco, Lord Jia Rong.”

The Semi-permanent Star Creature quickly stepped aside. He was essentially a creature from the Biochemical Star Region and had guarded this checkpoint for years to beco a mber of the Orion Arm. Therefore, he claid to be a creature within the Orion Arm.

Facing a top powerhouse from the Orion Arm, he certainly dared not show any neglect. Even if the opponent’s battleship only had a few semi-permanent star level strongn, and he might be able to destroy it alone in a real fight, he didn’t dare to look down on them.

His status was far inferior, and he still wanted to survive in the Orion Arm.

Accompanying Jia Rong’s battleship into the Orion Arm Star Field, the actions of the Orion Arm after his departure reached Jia Rong’s ears.

“What? The Orion Arm has taken over the Biochemical Star Region?”

“How is it possible that the Orion Arm has the strength to occupy the Biochemical Star Region…”

“Then the Empire invaded the Biochemical Star Region, now splitting control with the Orion Arm at the midpoint, and even fought a war with the Imperial Star Domain nearby, with the Orion Arm winning?”

Listening to the recent affairs of the Orion Arm, including Jia Rong, all creatures aboard the battleship were stunned by the series of changes.

To them, the Orion Arm was synonymous with weakness. If not for an ancient Evolutionary Creature Predecessor’s defense network at its periphery resisting external invasions, the Orion Arm would have long been annihilated.

But now, hearing that the Orion Arm could defeat the Biochemical Star Region and fight a war in its territories with the more powerful Empire, reaching a draw?

It was akin to hearing of a lamb defeating a tiger, even more exaggerated.

“It must be sothing our old master did inside.”

As Jia Rong’s subordinate aboard the battleship, they knew Jia Rong’s father, Jia Yan, was not Earth’s ‘Jia Yan’ but the Mosquito Patriarch. They guessed that Jia Yan must have played a role in this situation.

“It must be the old master. You know he’s an Evolutionary Creature. Even without using his strength, the surrounding forces would be intimidated by the na of his species and dispatch strongn to assist.”

After a Semi-permanent Star Level creature said this, he was quickly silenced by Jia Rong’s peculiar gaze. He surveyed his colleagues and found that they looked at him like he was an idiot, making him dare not utter such foolish words again.

Even in the Genius Battlefield, Evolutionary Creatures are deeply feared. Even Jia Rong, Jia Yan’s son, although respectful in the Genius Battlefield, still sensed constant vigilance. Hence, the words of this semi-permanent star level subordinate could never be true.

Fortunately, Jia Rong did not believe the flattering words. He had enough basic judgnt ability.

“Surely he used so ans, but unfortunately, I cannot know more details now. Otherwise, I’d learn the extent of his power and thods.”

Jia Rong had already given up on surpassing Jia Yan, but he still wanted to know the strength of his convenient father.

In other words, even if he verbally denied being Jia Yan’s son, deep down, he gradually acknowledged it.

“Oh? Jia Rong has returned? No need for him to go back to Earth; let him co directly to the frontline here. If he wishes to et Samo Ling, bring Samo Ling along.”

On the distant Biochemical Star Region frontline, Jia Yan suddenly heard about Jia Rong’s return to the Orion Arm.

To Jia Yan Squad mbers, they already knew Jia Yan was Earth’s ‘Jia Yan’ and knew that Jia Yan’s family had strange relationships with him. Therefore, in truth, only Young Master ‘Jia Rong’ had a certain blood relationship with Jia Yan. So when Jia Rong returned to the Orion Arm, soone reported his coback.

“Alright, I’ll bring Young Master Jia Rong here right away.”

Luo Longsi nodded and left Jia Yan’s area.

While they called Jia Yan ‘leader,’ they referred to Jia Rong as ‘young master,’ admitting that Jia Yan was their master.

Jia Yan had corrected them several tis before, but to no avail, so he let them be.

“Ti has passed… The faster my strength improves, the quicker ti feels to .”

After Luo Longsi left, Jia Yan suddenly sighed.

To him, these five years felt like a passing mont; suddenly, five years had gone by, feeling almost instant.

During these five years, apart from sending avatars to await battles, he fully devoted himself to cultivation. If not for Luo Longsi and others visiting or asking cultivation questions periodically, Jia Yan would have wondered if he could skip decades without knowing.

This is the concept of ti for creatures which have reached a certain level of strength.

Jia Yan knew cosmic strongn did not match Earth’s so-called “cultivation novels.” They are completely on a different level, yet at least concerning the concept of ti, it’s quite similar. The stronger the being, the faster they perceive ti. Five years now felt almost imperceptible to him.

“Luo Longsi just brought information about the upcoming competition arrangents.”

Jia Yan opened the smart brain data brought by Luo Longsi.

It detailed the contents and location of the competition agreed upon by both parties.

Jia Yan glanced at it and was relieved. In essence, this “competition” involved both strongn conducting a type of war, with neither willing to back down, especially over minor details. For example, the Orion Arm claims it is too weak and requires certain limitations, while the Empire insists on fairness, refusing to compromise.

Thus, they were entangled over this issue.

“The location is set at the Central Region of the control line, huh? That’s pretty good.”

“Since that’s the case, let’s proceed… Empire, do you think you’ve calculated everything? Haha, I can’t wait to see your expressions when dignitaries see my avatar appear during their battle…”

“As for the Star Space Level? If Xiao Rong reaches the Dignitary level, that’s fine. If not, he should claim the top Star Space Level position for . If he fails, he’s simply incompetent…”

It turns out that Jia Yan had long been strategizing for this competition.

Even though he didn’t care about using the Biochemical Star Region’s territory to gain ti, he wouldn’t let go easily either.
