Now reading: Chapter 2336 - 22: Fierce Battle Against a Star River Powerf from Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito, a Sci-fi novel by Step leap.

After all, when it cos to beings at the Star River level, no one is too willing to see another entity of similar strength. So in the universe, helping a peak of Stellar entity to ascend to a Star River-level creature is rare. In fact, the stronger the Star River level, especially Domain Master creatures, the less they help such aspiring Stellar ones because they have already surpassed the initial creatures entering the Star River.

Therefore, when Jia Yan encounters this freshly initiated assassin of the Star River, although he is not entirely fresh, his strength has been injured by Jia Yan, dropping to around the initial Star River level, making him an extrely challenging adversary. If Jia Yan wants to uncover the secrets of Star River entry, he has to engage in a direct battle with him.

The other party also understands Jia Yan’s intention, so he is not afraid of Jia Yan trying to escape.

"I still have so cards up my sleeve. If he fights head-on, then unleashing them, he won’t die but will at least shed a layer of skin. A Star River level entity, he might not yet realize just how terrifying that can be."

The assassin hides within an invisible space, which is neither a subspace nor a gravitational wave system. For him, such concealnt is very effective, and even a Star River level being would struggle to detect his activities without a full-scale investigation.

He is even less worried that Jia Yan will discover his whereabouts.

Hush.

Outside the fluctuating normal space, a colossal Mosquito Beast emitting a brilliant blue glow appears silently beyond the subspace, exuding a chilly aura.

"It has indeed appeared."

The assassin feels everything is under his control.

Then he gradually releases energy while slowly approaching Jia Yan.

This is almost the sa as if he wasn’t in stealth mode. Still, for so reason, this guy just refuses to reveal his true body.

"Hmm? What trick is he playing?"

Jia Yan was taken aback, but he wasn’t particularly afraid. As he analyzed earlier, as long as he wasn’t too reckless and didn’t fall into this Star River-level entity’s trap, there shouldn’t be any significant danger.

"Surprisingly, even when getting so close, there’s still hesitation?"

When the assassin discovered that Jia Yan was less than a hundred kiloters from his wave location but no longer approached, he shook his head with a mix of reluctance and understanding.

It’s only to be expected; if Jia Yan dared to be careless enough to approach, the battle wouldn’t have co this far.

The Stellar subordinates around were quiet due to the presence of these two beings at Star River level combat power. They didn’t feel any relief; on the contrary, they understood this was the calm before a storm.

However, for the creatures on the Factory Star far away, they briefly relaxed during the break in the two great beings’ combat waves.

"Is the fight over?"

"No, they’re still in a standoff; they might start again soon."

"Sigh, I finally see it clearly. These two beings have both reached the Star River level, and they’re both roughly at the initial stage of it. It’s challenging for beings of such power to actually kill each other. As a result, once they’re done, our planet will pay the price. What is this about?"

"Don’t we have a Stellar-level Lord sitting in our starfield? Why doesn’t he step up?"

"Nonsense, a Stellar-level Senior? Look at who’s fighting. The Stellar beings you see on the monitor have died around them. How can he even escape, let alone appear? Are you out of your mind?"

"Uh, that’s true. I overestimated our Stellar-level Senior. In retrospect, he’s only at the middle Stellar stage. Facing these two gods in battle would render him a weakling."

The higher-ups on the Factory Star felt helpless at this mont.

They harbor substantial resentnt towards the two Star River-level beings battling in the sky, but there’s nothing they can do. They know this resembles the legendary fights of immortals, where mortals like them inevitably suffer.

If there’s any bla, it’s on their own weakness.

anwhile, the temporary cessation of energy disturbance within the Factory Star prompted swarms of its inhabitants to board various flying devices. So still didn’t understand what was happening, assuming perhaps a volcanic eruption or another accident. After all, so factories on the Factory Star can endanger the entire planet. Believing it was ti to evacuate, they hurried to leave.

"Attention, do not leave your shelter. If you do, we cannot be held responsible for external incidents,"

a voice echoed in the sky, supplented by nurous electronic communications, informing the flying ships and equipnt.

But the people showed no gratitude. For many beings on this planet, the specifics of the massive upheaval eluded them; all they knew was to escape.

"Who cares about your warnings? As if you would take responsibility under any circumstances, I finally understand this Factory Star. Even now, they don’t want us to leave. After we leave, we’ll just start over on another planet. Skilled laborers are needed everywhere, right?"

"Exactly, this planet has stirred up sothing significant. We craftsn seek stability, yet we’re not allowed to leave. It’s simply outrageous."

Such dissent fueled more agreent among the beings aboard fleeing vessels.

Many didn’t heed these words. They focused solely on pushing their ships to ascend above the Factory Star.

For these beings, truly leaving was improbable. Leaving despite owning assets there? For craftsn, their possessions were everything, so departure wasn’t genuinely considered.

But the thought of avoiding unseen danger deeply pervaded them. Without faith in the Factory Star’s safety, so craftsn might indeed sell and leave.

The future is yet to unfold, though, as the present holds sway.

Efforts to halt the exodus proved futile as earlier energy explosions threw the entire Factory Star into chaos. Communication from so areas was even lost, preventing comprehensive migration prevention.

"Haha, we’re out. That damned planet with its ripples almost scared to death."

"Now we’re in the cosmic void, free from disruptions. Let’s see how they persuade us now."

"Earlier, a governnt agent claid two Star River-level entities fought in the cosmic void. Hilarious. Why not claim it’s two Domain Masters battling instead? As if we could et a Star River level so easily, even if I perish in their battle waves, it wouldn’t matter."

Boom!!!!

As a creature aboard a ship voiced such remarks, an incredibly terrifying wave erupted tens of thousands of kiloters away!

This wave’s energy was astoundingly earth-shattering. The beings recently escaped from the Factory Star barely caught their breath before realizing that overwhelming wave was upon them.

"Ah!?"

"What energy is this? Ah!"

"Horrifying, it’s genuinely the power wave of a Star River level entity. I deeply regret this decision."

Boom boom boom!

An array of explosions and lights in the starry sky seed as insignificant as small firecrackers.

The fleeing creatures hadn’t anticipated. After so much struggle to escape the Factory Star, the cosmic void was indeed the battlefield of two beings with Star River level strength as warned by the Factory Star governnt.
