Jia Yan couldn’t endure any longer.
Even though the flas over there seed to have slightly subsided, he couldn’t wait any longer!
The carcass of the Giant Mosquito, at this mont, adamantly leapt towards that direction!
Nurturing a raw hope and a strong desire to survive, the leap of the Giant Mosquito spanned a hundred ters, charging towards the ball of flas ahead!
The environnt was silent and being in it for a long ti would usually calm one’s mind.
However, Jia Yan, at this mont, couldn’t calm his emotions!
He was flying in the sky!
There was no gravity in space, and he was maneuvering towards that direction!
If he didn’t succeed, he’d die trying!
Even in the face of the most beautiful scenery, how could anyone think about the scenery at such a ti.
Jia Yan was focused, even though he had leapt out and couldn’t control his body, his eyes were still fixated on the approaching flas ahead!
The flas began to die slowly, while the exterior was still glowing red, he could only expect to be burned upon approaching.
But the Giant Mosquito had no other choice!
There was no chance of self-rescue anywhere else, only that place offered a slim chance of survival!
He flew across the hundred ters, more with luck than judgent!
The destination he reached was an enormous remnant less than a hundred ters from the blast site!
A segnt of fla was still burning, although it was not as mighty as in the beginning, it was still vigorous.
Jia Yan had chosen a place where the flas were not the highest, but there was still a fla group towering higher than a man!
However, there was a huge gap that could accommodate him, and the Giant Mosquito was closing in fast on this spot!
The bright light was near!
The flas were right in front of him.
Jia Yan could see that what was burning was a kind of solid liquid, that seed to be the fuel of the space station, without it, the flas would have long been extinguished!
He was nearing the target, Jia Yan had no reason to miss!
His only concern now was whether or not he could endure the pain of the blazing flas!
He kicked off the edge, thrusting himself in!
As he whizzed through the burning flas, Jia Yan felt the temperature of his body rapidly rising.
The temperature was at least a thousand degrees, and this was from not being close to the fla’s core.
Even being at the flaming core, he would undoubtedly lose a layer of skin if not killed!
It didn’t make much difference now, Jia Yan felt he was about to be set on fire entirely, and his exoskeleton was sending out warning signals of extre pain.
He could feel the sensation of an organism being roasted, and his exoskeleton had started to warp.
This was an inevitable consequence of being burnt by flas, making the hard exoskeleton incredibly fragile!
The body of the Giant Mosquito accurately hit the edge of the crevice.
At this mont, all Jia Yan could see was the bright red fla.
But he knew, he already passed the hottest part of the fla.
Even though the place was still filled with flas, the temperature was no longer extrely high!
The Giant Mosquito grabbed a piece of tal wall from the flas!
His exoskeleton was almost like a red-hot iron block, making a sizzling sound!
“Sound!?”
But the first thing that Jia Yan felt wasn’t the pain from his burning body, but the sound from the flas crackling on himself in this gap!
The presence of sound ant there was air!
And the air in this base had oxygen.
Because the invading Big Mosquito could breathe here beforehand!
He hurriedly opened his respiratory tract and took a deep breath of air!
“It’s so hot!”
Jia Yan almost scread in agony, it turned out that the surrounding air was all inflad.
He took a breath and inhaled all the hot air, burning his internal organs!
But this breath was necessary; else, he might have already died from oxygen deprivation!
Even if high temperatures scorched him, as long as he could survive, burn injuries didn’t matter!
The Giant Mosquito rattled on!
His vigorous physique was evident now!
Even though he knew before that his body could withstand high temperatures but not low ones, he was quite surprised himself to be alive amidst the blazing flas!
Luckily, his heat resistance at this mont was a guarantee of his survival.
Without such a sturdy body, he would not have been able to escape today’s calamity!
Whoosh!
Whoosh!
The surroundings were all painted a fiery red, and the flas in so parts were gradually dying out.
Jia Yan’s body was shaky; this might be the most dangerous situation he has ever encountered since his rebirth, excluding mutations!
But previous episodes of mutation had tempered his robust heart and endurance.
Even though Jia Yan was sowhat delirious, he still refused to fall!
He wiggled while floating forward!
This place had so air, but evidently, it was not going to last.
Surrounded by a vacuum, he did not think the thin air here could last long!
“Air does not just appear out of nowhere, so there must be an air vent sowhere.
I need to find it!”
Jia Yan crawled forwards in the collapsing passageway!
The wind roared around him, a result of the air in front being sucked out into the vacuum outside.
No matter how powerful the air supply device at the front was, it couldn’t keep up with the draw from the vacuum outside!
Jia Yan had previously made a clear judgnt.
If there were structures here that had not been destroyed by the explosion, then his chances of survival would be high.
After all, he had learned during his invasion that the civilization of this base was unparalleled by Earth, seemingly independent in every section of the passageway.
When he saw intact parts in the explosion, he had already decided to take a gamble.
Even if there was not a glimr of hope, he still had to try it out.
After all, there’s less chance of survival anywhere else!
Luckily, air was indeed present, and he continued to float forward!
The damaged base resembled huge ruins, with air constantly being drained out.
This seemingly lower section of the base remained intact, with no significant destructed from explosions and even tal walls still intact in parts without any flas showing up.
Finally, Jia Yan reached a relatively deep area.
Looking up, he saw that the place was free of even the influence of the explosion, let alone fire.
Stranger still, this was the bottommost floor of the spiral staircase where he had descended with Daphne!
The blasted area overhead seed to have been sealed, and there was even lighting here, although the flashing red light indicated an alarm.
Jia Yan spotted sothing resembling a remote control device next to the fallen man on the ground.
This man, known as Auro, apparently didn’t die outright before.
He seed to have done sothing crucial at the last mont!
Jia Yan looked thoughtful as he gently maneuvered his body to float forward.
He saw that among the man’s fingers was button on the remote control.
However, there was no sign of life in him.
He seed truly dead.
Jia Yan carefully dislodged the remote control from his finger.
Like humans, aliens after death, stiffen very quickly.
By Jia Yan’s estimation, he should not have been dead for more than two hours, yet his body was already rigid!
With great difficulty, Jia Yan managed to pry the remote control from the man’s fingers and examined its buttons.
The device looked very stylish, but he didn’t understand a single word on the button.
But he rembered that the button Auro’s finger last pressed was the first blue button at the bottom.
Jia Yan had reason to believe that if the base had not exploded so powerfully at the end, it was because Auro pressed that button!
So he examined the row of blue buttons behind the first one, assuming that similar functions would be together!
