[Seeking Subscription] _1 Today marked Tang Eltangz’s fourth day as the ‘Caregiver’ for the Giant Mosquito.
However, due to his inability to work, so of the younger people of their tribe began to change their attitude towards him – a change that Tang Eltangz was disappointed to see.
He didn’t bring back that colossal monster just to skip work!
He cast an irritated glare toward the creature, but when he rembered the tis that it had moved, he didn’t dare to say anything harsh!
Alike any other day, Tang Eltangz stood not far from the Big Mosquito, engrossed in his ga.
What was supposed to be an ordinary day ceased to be so when a sudden voice echoed in his mind.
“Kudi…
Tungstenite…
Hello…”
The voice was calm and pleasing and of a softer tone typical of their Kudi Tungesten male population.
The unexpected voice seed to have startled Tang Eltangz, causing him to jump to his feet.
He looked towards the direction of the massive Giant Mosquito with uncertainty and began to feel nervous.
He doubted if he had misheard.
Yet, the next mont, the voice spoke again.
“Hello, I an no harm.”
Following this voice, sothing that terrified Tang Eltangz even more happened – the enormous creature moved!
He scread in sheer terror, like a frightened kitten, and was about to dash towards the door to spread the news.
But a gentle force blocked his way, causing him to co to an abrupt halt like he had run into a wall, making him unable to take another step forward!
“Yo…you…Hello!”
Finally acknowledging the strength of the creature, Tang Eltangz turned around, stamring a terrified greeting at the colossal monster.
His voice was distorted with fear, forcing Jia Yan to analyze it for a mont to understand what Tang was trying to say.
“Let reiterate…I an…no harm.” Jia Yan’s massive body stirred slightly, but he realized he must limit his mont – he would otherwise bring their house down.
Fortunately, he had no such intentions, so he stopped moving when he realized this.
“Yo…you…Hello, great being.
I’m sorry for bringing you into our small tribe.” Tang Eltangz wanted to ask the monster how it knew their Kudi Tongstenite language, but it clearly wasn’t the right ti.
“Oh!
I won’t..
bla you.
If it weren’t for you, I might have been in even greater danger.
I should thank…
you.”
Jia Yan found that while this language shared so similarities with the language of the Ost, he had to speak slowly – speaking too fast would lead to errors – and he was adjusting.
After a brief exchange, Jia Yan managed to calm down the young Kudi Tungestenite.
He made Jia Yan promise not to report to the so-called “Lord” and, instead, report to the tribe’s elders.
After doing so, they would arrange a eting with him.
As a formidable giant creature, Jia Yan naturally had a mighty deterrent power.
He knew that his ‘requests’ seed like threats to other creatures, and he believed that this young Kudi Tungestenite wouldn’t go against his words.
As expected, not long after Jia Yan let the young man go, there was a sound of hurried footsteps approaching him.
Jia Yan smirked ever so slightly.
Seven senior Kudi Tungestenites appeared.
In their tribe, those who were older had better strength and prestige, similar to the elders in martial arts novels where the older they get, the stronger they beco.
With their vast knowledge, they held the majority of the tribe’s power.
“Honorable Strong One, hello.”
An older man was the first to bow to Jia Yan.
Even though they were also scared of the Big Mosquito, they didn’t display the sa level of fear as Tang Eltangz.
This showed their substantial ntal fortitude.
Moreover, these elders believed that the monster could not beat the lord of their territory.
Therefore, no matter how powerful it was, it couldn’t surpass the Sky Level, at best it would be at the Mid Celestial Level or even just the Early Stage.
In their tribe, there were those with imasurable combat power enough to face a Sky Level early-stage creature, hence their neither servile nor overbearing attitude.
“Hello, I appreciate your help.” Jia Yan started by making them feel as if they were his saviors!
Although he didn’t really need their help, this helped narrow their distance.
The elders seed to relax a little.
If the creature could speak such words, it was unlikely to be a murderous entity.
“Not at all.
If you truly understood why we did what we did, you’d know that it was far from a rescue.
Kindly forgive us, my Lord.” The elder man also took the cue and bowed to Jia Yan.
The two conveniently brushed this issue aside.
“I am new to your…planet, can you tell what this planet is called?
And…um, which area are we located in right now?”
Jia Yan carefully phrased his question but still ended up asking about the region.
After all, the most pressing question he had was regarding his current location.
