Having thought this through, a sense of sagacity seed to rise in the gleam of Compound Eyes in Jia Yan’s eyes.
…
“Lord Jia Yan, are you satisfied with our harbor?”
“Very well, I am quite content.
Let’s choose your location for docking.
However, you know I have so issues with the Celestial Dragon starry sky strong ones, so I hope your harbor won’t close, allowing to leave at any ti, alright?”
“Certainly, rest assured, we fully support you in your matters with the Celestial Dragon starry sky.
Although we can’t oppose them, this small task is still manageable.”
Without half a day passing, Jia Yan had found a suitable docking point.
The company was not very large, but since it was affiliated with a major company from the Northern Star Domain, it had the boldness to confront a dragon strong.
“I would ask Lord Jia Yan to arrange for us, to introduce the lords of the Angel Camp to our company, much appreciated.”
“Sure, once the collection conference officially concludes, I will introduce you.”
After having casually dealt with the other party, Jia Yan excused himself from their dinner invitation on the pretext of having to prepare for the collection work.
Watching the sowhat disgruntled departure of the leader from that trans-starfield company, Jia Yan felt slightly apologetic and silently offered an apology to them.
Due to this affair, he was bound to cause a great commotion, and this company might get dragged into it.
Then, it would be seen if they truly had the energy they claid to possess as their leader had stated.
Jia Yan returned to the Temporary Docking Point in Space and steered his ship into the harbor of this company.
His choice of this company’s harbor was also after considering several others.
The other companies had robust security forces, and two companies even had their security systems integrated with the city’s, making it harder for Jia Yan to make his escape.
The harbors from this company, showing signs of long neglect and very close to space, provided Jia Yan with a simple task; a little bit of destruction to the isolation zones would be enough to break through into space.
“Good,” Jia Yan thought, feeling a bit of remorse for the company, blissfully unaware that their hitching onto the Angel Camp might soon lead to trouble.
“Sorry about that.”
Having settled the docking of his ship, Jia Yan disembarked at the desolate port.
To call it a harbor was sothing of a misnor, as this port was more accurately a small artificial planet.
The original intention was to build a temporary settlent for all forces, but it gradually beca the comrcial center of the entire Desolate Star System, bustling with activity.
“It’s said that this harbor star was initially made entirely from interstellar teorites drawn from outer space.
Over ti, it evolved into its current state.”
As Jia Yan walked down the streets, he felt amazed.
If he hadn’t known already about the existence of this semi-planetary construction, he could never believe the ground under his feet, originally just small interstellar matter from the starry sky.
Jia Yan greatly admired the intelligence of life here, as such a feat seed like science fiction to Earth people, yet the beings here managed to accomplish it.
“Of course, it’s said that their assembly here is rely a simple union, with each major company carving out their own territory to develop.
Such thods are highly scorned by the residents of this starry sky, as in other starfields, the creation of semi-artificial planets is far more advanced.
And so are even for battle, known as death stars!”
Jia Yan thought back to the reports he had seen and felt truly astonished by the vastness of this star domain; he had thought the civilizations in the Orion Arm were incredibly advanced, yet compared to the life forms here, they seed worlds apart.
“This star system even has the moniker ‘Desolate Star System’; I can hardly imagine what the more advanced systems would look like,” Jia Yan mused, surprised by the na, as all he saw around him were signs of advancent and civilization, yet everyone called it a wasteland.
“Lord, co take a look, a nutrient solution that encourages strength.
This is the one and only shop, no branches elsewhere.”
“Check this out—a potion guaranteed to evolve you to the next level, unmatched anywhere between heaven and earth, sold exclusively by us.”
One vendor after another shouted out loud.
Jia Yan looked at these vendors with so surprise.
His intuition told him all these items were fakes, yet these vendors dared to boldly advertise exaggerated effects, even deceiving starry sky level experts.
Weren’t they afraid of losing their lives?
However, seeing patrols passing back and forth, Jia Yan pondered the situation.
On this artificial harbor planet, perhaps the only uncivilized aspect was the omnipresence of frauds.
As Jia Yan continued on, he encountered nurous such deceitful stalls.
Yet, they weren’t selling their wares for too high a price, and most custors were actually Earth-level or Sky-level strong ones with moderate strength, for whom such items might still hold so effect.
Jia Yan’s goal was not to admire the prosperity of this harbor planet, but to observe the situation and plan a future escape route.
