She glanced at Javier, who was standing not too far from her bed, discussing sothing with the other two won wearing the sa surgical attire as him.
Who is this guy?
From his voice, his eyes, and the way he smiles... even if I haven’t seen his face yet.
He seems like a handso guy.
She glanced at Javier again while pulling her blanket to cover her lips.
He’s tall, and from his back, he looks like he has good muscle.
Just my type~
Gracelle smiled dreamily before snapping back to reality.
No... I can’t.
I’ve tried my best to hold on just to et a certain soone. I can’t... I must et him again.
I can’t betray him. I already promised him.
She glanced at Javier again.
Ah~ but... this guy’s body and the way he talks are just my type~
I wonder how handso he is when he removes the clothes covering his face?
They say he’s the one who saved .
I wonder where he’s from?
She shook her head slowly.
No... don’t think about any other guy now.
You already promised to Javier De Armand.
At least et him first before...
She glanced at Javier again.
Ahh... I don’t know why, but my heart races when I look at his back~
Javier turned in a rush with Myra and Kalea when the monitoring system began beeping, alerted by Gracelle’s racing heart.
"Did you feel any pain? Are you hurt sowhere?" Javier asked urgently.
Gracelle’s face reddened as she covered it with her blanket.
How do they know my heart is racing?
Is it because of that weird machine?
"Um... no... I... I don’t feel hurt... It’s just... umm..." Gracelle stamred shyly and panicked.
Myra smiled and tapped Javier’s shoulder.
"Your Highness, it’s best if you leave this to us."
"Oh? Why?" Javier tilted his head, confused.
"You don’t have to worry about it, Your Highness. Just leave her to us."
"You sure?" Javier checked the monitoring system, which had stopped giving warnings.
"Yes." Myra nodded and smiled while Kalea chuckled softly.
"Well... I’ll leave her to you both. Rember to contact if anything happens."
"As you command, Your Highness." Both Myra and Kalea bowed gracefully as Javier slowly left the room in confusion.
After Javier left.
Gracelle glanced at Myra.
"Umm..."
Myra, who was checking her condition, glanced at her. "Yes?"
"That mister... umm... doctor... is he... um... single?"
Myra and Kalea looked at each other before laughing softly.
"Ah... no... He’s taken. He already has fiancées."
Gracelle felt a bit dejected. "Oh..."
Myra smiled. "Rember the elven girl before?"
"Ah... that beautiful silver-haired, erald-eyed elf? Wow..." Gracelle sighed wistfully. "That ans mister doctor must be handso."
Kalea chuckled. "Oh~ He is. He’s the most handso guy we know. Even more handso than his brothers."
"Re... really? Wow... that elf girl must be so lucky."
"Even this girl here has also fallen for him." Myra pointed toward Kalea.
"M... Myra! Shhh! If Liana heard that, I’d be in huge trouble!" Kalea hissed.
"He must be too handso then... that elf girl... is too lucky." Gracelle let out a long sigh. "Umm..."
"Hmm? Yes?" Myra tilted her head and glanced at Gracelle.
"When can I et this elf girl again?" Gracelle asked, looking into Myra’s eyes.
"Ah... Miss Liana? I don’t know. Maybe in the evening, if she’s not busy. Why?"
"Umm..." Gracelle mumbled softly. "There’s sothing I want to ask... from her."
Myra smiled. "I’ll inform her later. For now, focus on rest, okay? We’ll give you water in a few hours."
"O... okay..." Gracelle said softly before resting.
After Myra and Kalea went out, she glanced up at the ceiling.
I wonder what that elf girl ant by "might be able to see soone you’ve wanted to see for a long ti~"?
How does she know who I want to et?
Does she know Javier De Armand? From the Armand Family?
She exhaled.
It’s been six years since I last t him. We only exchanged letters.
I wonder how he looks nowadays?
She let out a soft laugh.
What if he grew fat? I rember from one of his letters, he ntioned he wanted to learn to cook at only.
He even ntioned in his letter that he hates vegetables.
I can’t wait to get better...
So I could et him after all these years.
She glanced at her arm, noticing how thin and frail it looked.
But... I wonder... if he still rembers ?
Since the last letter I sent him was years ago.
What if he thinks I was avoiding him or sothing?
She glanced at her arm again, her body still weak and skinny.
But... does he even want to see ... like this?
What if when we et, he looks at with disgust?
She bit her lower lip.
Now... I’m starting to feel scared to et him.
She felt a sharp sting in her heart, a mix of anxiety and sadness tightening her chest.
The monitoring system began beeping in warning.
Myra and Kalea, noticing the alert, rushed toward her room.
Kalea hurried to check the monitor while Myra rushed to check on Gracelle’s condition, noticing her eyes gleaming with unshed tears.
"What’s wrong?" Myra asked gently. "Are you in pain?"
Gracelle shook her head while biting her lower lip. "No..."
Myra exhaled and tried to calm Gracelle down. "Tell what’s wrong. Why are you crying like this? If you’re hurting anywhere, just tell us so we can help you."
Gracelle pursed her lips, her expression sad and troubled. "No... I don’t feel any pain... but..."
"Shh... now, calm down, okay?" Myra said soothingly. "If you keep getting upset like this, it might slow down your recovery."
Gracelle, who was still pouting, nodded.
"Now take a deep breath..." Myra smiled.
Gracelle followed her instructions, inhaling slowly.
"Good... slowly release it... yes... like that."
Kalea felt relieved when the monitoring system stopped giving warnings.
Gracelle glanced up at Myra while still biting her lower lip.
"Can I et the elf girl? Please?"
Myra glanced at Kalea before looking back at Gracelle.
"We’ll see what we can do. For now, rest, okay?"
Gracelle shook her head. "I can’t rest before I et her... please?"
Myra let out a long exhale before turning toward Kalea.
"Kalea?"
"Yes, Miss Myra?"
"Could you... umm... inform soone to call Liana here?"
"E... eh?" Kalea mumbled softly. "Why ?" she hissed quietly.
"Just go and tell Mrs. Erinette if you’re scared of Liana."
"Mou! I’m not scared of her..." Kalea said in a low voice. "But she’s the one who can be scary sotis."
Myra shook her head and hissed. "Just go and call her now."
"Tch... fine..." Kalea grumbled under her breath and slowly walked out of the room.
Myra smiled behind her mask and glanced at Gracelle.
"We’ll call for her now, okay? So please rest, calm down, and try not to panic. Getting worked up won’t help your recovery."
