Chapter 573: Silent Assault, Infinite Will ( 573 )
Location: Armand Region.
Secret Underground Special Training Zone.
Liana and Gloria stood side by side, each holding their weapon tightly—Liana with her sleek white-ore longbow, and Gloria with her white-ore warhamr that humd with compressed force.
In front of them was Erinnette, dressed in her black combat maid uniform trimd with silver threads. She crossed her arms and looked at them with a sharp, calm gaze.
“You’ve both reached Level 99,” she said evenly. “That ans no more mistakes. No more hesitation. If you really want to stay by Young Master Javier’s side… show it.”
Liana and Gloria straightened up, each placing their right fist over their left chest and bowing slightly in unison.
“Yes, Mrs. Erinnette.”
Erinnette nodded once.
“Good. Now focus.”
She paused for a mont—and then, with a faint smirk barely hiding beneath her commanding presence, she added,
“Because if you ss up this stage again…” she glanced to the side, pretending to think, “maybe the dwarves will offer your young master their best daughters. Slim, young, petite… and very, very loyal ones.”
“No!” both Liana and Gloria shouted at the sa ti, their eyes blazing as mana surged around them.
“I won’t let that happen,” Liana said sharply, drawing her bow with a quick breath, wind and white light swirling around her.
“He belongs with us,” Gloria added firmly, her grip on her warhamr growing stronger as it expanded again—towering and thrumming like a thunderstorm made of tal.
“Then prove it,” Erinnette said. “Start now.”
She turned slightly, arms still crossed behind her back. Her voice was calm but with a slight edge that challenged them.
“Just rember… the longer you two take to finish this training, the more girls will flock around your beloved young master.”
She lightly tapped her heel against the floor.
“Look at what happened recently. Princess Mimi from the Beastkin Kingdom… and Princess Delya from the Demon Kingdom. Both of them are in the zone now—though not in this room. General Hesbeirn is personally watching over them.”
Liana’s eye twitched.
Gloria’s grip on her warhamr tightened.
But both of them smiled.
Smugly.
In their minds, the picture was crystal clear—they saw those younger girls puffing out their chests and pretending to keep up… only to pale in comparison with their own curves, smooth skin, and mature bodies. The mory of that earlier “training battle” made their lips curl with confidence.
Erinnette’s voice ca back, calm and casual.
“I think Lord Garius also ntioned a possible new addition… another princess.” She paused for effect. “Princess… Felicia, was it?”
She kept a composed face, but a small smirk hid behind it.
A surge of mana rippled around both maids.
Liana’s eyes narrowed. Gloria’s eyebrows twitched.
They knew that na.
They had asked Mimi directly about her older sister.
Felicia—silver hair, golden eyes. A catfolk with a nearly human appearance, only with feline ears and tail. Cold. Distant. Not interested in love… or so it seed.
But that letter—
A sealed docunt, written and stamped by King Lioness himself.
A “promise.”
Liana exhaled. Her white light flared from her bow, swirling into a radiant wind that wrapped around her like an elegant storm.
Gloria’s mana exploded outward like thunder, her warhamr sparking and expanding with fierce power.
“If you both don’t finish this training now…” Erinnette’s voice echoed with finality, calm but sharp, “I believe you won’t be able to stop your young master from building an even bigger harem.”
She let her words sink in as she slowly moved around them.
“According to Lord Garius… his last known location is the final stronghold of the Dwarven Kingdom. And judging from his most recent letter—” her eyes narrowed.
“He’s successfully crushed 120,000 elite halfling troops.”
Liana’s breath hitched.
Gloria’s grip on her warhamr tightened even more.
“Of course, using his invention.”
Erinnette turned to face them directly.
“Even though he’s only thirteen… in just five more months, he’ll be fourteen. But his appearance? Taller than most grown n, lean and strong. His face already has the charm of a young noble—sharp eyes, defined features, and a subtle yet dangerous smile.”
She closed her eyes for a mont and sighed.
“Girls are drawn to him like moths to a fla.”
Liana’s eye twitched again. Gloria click her tongue.
Erinnette raised a finger.
“And don’t even get started on the maids. Even now, across the entire Armand household, more and more eyes are turning toward all of Lord Garius’s sons. Master Marcellus, Master Cedric, Master Aelius, Master Heres…”
She paused for effect.
“…but especially your young master Javier.”
Liana flinched.
Gloria bit her lips.
“Since he doesn’t have personal escorts with him right now… well—” Erinnette turned around, arms again behind her back. “—it’s like leaving a feast unattended in front of starving wolves.”
The silence that followed was heavy.
Suddenly, crackling mana surged again, hotter than before. Liana’s magic bow humd with light. Gloria’s warhamr crackled with built-up power.
Then—
They moved.
Twin streaks of white light shot toward the center of the training zone, slicing through enchantnt barriers and training pillars, each step faster, sharper, and more furious than before.
Gloria spun—an elegant, effortless twist of her body as her warhamr expanded in mid-swing. With a single strike, the huge weapon crushed a crowd of summoned monsters like fragile glass figurines. Bones shattered. Mana cores exploded. The ground shook beneath them.
Behind her, Liana’s pale fingers let go of another arrow—silent, glowing, and ethereal. It whistled through the air like a whisper of wind and pierced the heart of a charging ogre-spawn. The creature froze, convulsed, and then dissolved into glowing dust.
A second, third, and fourth arrow followed, each hitting its mark perfectly.
The air around them was thick with divine energy and silent fury.
This wasn’t just training.
It was war.
A war for the one who ant everything to them.
Young master Javier.
Liana’s erald eyes narrowed as she drew her bow again, unleashing a storm of arrows that lit up the entire training zone. Each shot was infused with mana—precise, beautiful, and deadly.
So calm. So graceful.
And yet, so rciless.
Gloria leapt forward, flipping in midair. Her warhamr struck down like divine judgnt, smashing a monster before it could regenerate. Sparks flickered across her glasses, but her calm, refined expression never changed.
Their goal was absolute.
No woman would take him.
That was the vow they both kept deep in their hearts.
As long as they stood beside Javier, no one dared co close. Not even the boldest noble won. Not even the so-called princesses.
They had seen it happen themselves.
Wherever they walked with him, the glances from other girls hesitated. Eyes flickered, hearts backed down. Because standing beside Javier weren’t just beautiful won—
They were legends in the making.
Especially Liana—pale, graceful, untouchable.
Javier’s first choice.
The one he declared without hesitation.
The one he would marry first.
That thought wasn’t spoken aloud in the training ground… but it thundered inside Liana’s soul like a second heartbeat.
And Gloria—her rival, her sister-in-arms—felt it too.
A monster tried to flank Gloria. Before it could strike, Liana’s arrow pierced its eye.
They nodded at each other.
Their coordination was perfect. Their minds, aligned. Their goal.
To return to Javier’s side stronger, faster, deadlier.
So that no matter who ca next…
He would never need anyone else.
And no one else would dare try.
