Chapter 614: A Human’s Insult, a Celestial’s Rage ( 614 )

Gumarak bellowed, “Ti to cut his head and send it to Garius!!!” His laughter echoed loudly through the shattered hall as a dark, wicked blade ford in his hand. He spun it once, savoring its weight, then began to walk—slowly, nacingly—toward Javier’s motionless body.

The air was thick with bloodlust.

His steps grew closer and closer.

And then.

Javier sat up. Casually.

Like he’d just woken up from a nap.

He stood slowly, cracking his neck left and right. He then looked down at himself.

“Ewww… it’s sticky,” Javier muttered, rubbing at the blood-like goo sared across his armor. “Damn. I shouldn’t have used this batch for my act.” He flicked so off with a finger and grimaced.

“If Liana saw this…” he sighed, imagining the scolding. “She’s totally gonna nag . ‘Young master!! What’s with the syrup all over your clothes!'”

He brushed his shoulders, casually flicking more of the fake blood away in annoyance.

Javier smirked, his lips twisting into a cocky grin as he cracked his neck again.

“Hey, Fourth Strongest,” he said mockingly, raising both hands to make exaggerated air quotes. “That’s the best you can do? Seriously? At least try using your full power from the start. That was boring.”

“Wha—?” Gumarak froze mid-step, blinking in disbelief.

Javier casually dusted more fake blood from his chest, then rolled his shoulders. “Man, your punches and kicks? Didn’t even feel ’em. I’ve had tougher wake-up calls from Liana when I oversleep.”

He leaned forward slightly, wiggling his eyebrows and flashing a sly grin. “And what was that stab supposed to be? Co on now. Even that wicked poser hero Kenjirou could do better than that. At least his attacks sting a little.”

Gumarak’s face twisted into rage and confusion, unable to process what he was seeing. The body he had tossed, kicked, and crushed—wasn’t just alive—it looked completely unhard.

“Yaaaawn…” Javier stretched his arms casually, like he’d just woken from a nap. “I really thought Celestials were supposed to be scary or sothing.” He rubbed the back of his head, voice dripping with sarcasm.

“Man… I don’t know what that dried plum was thinking…” he muttered with a smirk. “Sending here like it was so big mission.”

He glanced around at the charred battlefield, the shattered stone, the cracked throne room floor—and then down at himself, still spotless aside from the syrupy fake blood.

“Here I was… expecting sothing intense. Maybe a fight for my life.” Javier sighed with exaggerated disappointnt. “But this? This is just sad. Even grilling at with Liana was more fun than this.”

“You sure you’re the fourth strongest? Not like… the fourth funniest instead?”

Javier casually flicked a piece of broken stone off his shoulder and tilted his head, grinning like a bored student teasing their teacher.

“And that’s what you call real speed?” he asked mockingly. “Was that supposed to impress ? Looked more like slow-motion warm-up stretches.”

He stepped forward.

“That was your real magic? Dark spikes?” Javier scoffed. “Co on, those things weren’t even scary. Honestly, I’ve seen more threatening stuff in Liana’s tools.”

He tapped his chin, eyes twinkling with mischief. “Maybe those dark spikes could be used for sothing… like at skewers at a campfire party?”

Then his voice dropped into a playful, goading tone.

“So, Fourth Strongest—how about you stop embarrassing yourself and get serious already? Show your real power~”

He stretched his arms again, letting out another yawn.

“Because if that was your full power…” Javier smirked. “Then this is going to be a reeeal short fight.”

“How dare you mock !! I am a Celestial!! You’re just a puny human!!!” Gumarak roared, his dark aura flaring wildly, cracking the stone beneath his feet. The throne room trembled with fury.

Javier just chuckled.

“Ah… if I was from this world…” he said with a cheeky grin, raising a hand and wiggling his fingers, “Maaaaybeee you’d be right~”

Then he tilted his head, gaze sharpening.

“But you don’t need to know that, right?” Javier smiled slyly, like a predator toying with its prey. “Now, now… don’t pout.” His smile vanished.

“Get serious—” his voice dropped, firm, razor-sharp.

Javier’s eyes narrowed, his presence suddenly shifting like the weight of a storm pressing in.

“—or I will be.”

In that mont, the air cracked with pressure.

Suddenly—Javier vanished.

Gumarak’s eyes widened. “What—?!”

CRACK!!

A clean, heavy punch landed square on his jaw. Gumarak’s massive body spun mid-air and crashed into a stone pillar, breaking it apart with a thunderous boom.

Javier stood where Gumarak once was, casually blowing on his knuckles like it was the barrel of a gun.

“How does it taste? Hmm? Delicious?” he asked coolly, smirking. “Need a second helping?”

Before the Celestial could recover, Javier disappeared again.

A swift kick slamd into Gumarak’s face from above, flipping him in the air like a ragdoll.

Javier reappeared mid-air beside him, upside-down and grinning.

“Now, now… don’t you dare lose to this ‘mama boy who still sucking his mama’s tits’~”

He winked mid-spin—

—and Gumarak crashed into the throne steps with a booming thud that shook the entire hall.

Javier landed softly on the cracked marble floor, casually brushing his shoulder.

“Hey…” he called out with a cheeky grin. “That was just a regular punch, you know? With basic mana channeling.”

“C’mon, Fourth Strongest—don’t tell that’s all you’ve got.”

He tilted his head mockingly, eyes gleaming with amusent.

“I ca all this way, even wore my coolest armor, and you’re holding back? Co on~ use your full power. I wanna see it.”

Javier pointed at the scowling Celestial like he was inviting a dance.

“Unless, of course… you’re scared of a ‘puny human’?”

He chuckled. “That would be embarrassing.”

Gumarak’s roar echoed through the throne room.

“HAAAAARRRGHHH!!!”

Dark energy surged around him, swirling like a storm. His muscles bulged, veins glowing black, and his eyes burned with blazing red fury.

“You puny human!! I’ll kill you right here and devour your power!!”

“Ooooh~ so scary~”

He rubbed one eye and sniffled dramatically.

“Mama! Uwaaa~! This little demon is scary!!”

Then, peeking up with one eye, he smirked.

“That’s what you want, right? begging for rcy? Sorry, not my style.”

He dusted off his armor again.

“Alright, big guy. You got your power-up mont. Now show if it’s actually worth the hype.”

Javier cracked his neck once to the left, then to the right—

“Ti for round two.”
