Arica is different from Huaxia; this is a country that worships democracy and freedom, and the Arican public already carries an inherent distrust toward their own governnt.
After the information on Clayflo and Oltin was exposed, Aricans beca convinced that this Beast Head incident was originally nothing more than a feud and confrontation between Huo Sining and the Rothschild Family. Even if it were to be elevated, at most it was just a contest between Huaxia Country and D Country, and Arica was rely the unlucky sucker unintentionally dragged into it.
So, once the incident developed to this point, Aricans, relying on their rich imagination, spun out multiple versions of the Beast Head story.
One version says the Rothschild Family and Huo Sining are in a love–hate relationship: Clayflo wanted to use the twelve zodiac animal heads to buy Huo Sining over for his own use, but unexpectedly was rejected by Huo Sining, and in the end the two sides fought to the death.
Another version is that relations between Huaxia Country and D Country are tense, and they are using this incident as a pretext to declare war on D Country.
However, no matter what the real inside story is, as the news kept getting exposed again and again, the dia, with zero bottom line, dredged up all sorts of incriminating evidence about Ouwei, and then linked the Rothschild Family, D Country, Huo Sining, and Huaxia Country together in a whole series of conspiracy theories, practically turning this incident into an international event.
In the process, Aricans automatically cast themselves in the role of innocent collateral damage. They believed Arican dia and governnt should never have gotten involved in this foreign dispute in the first place, let alone tead up with D Country.
So radicals even argued that the Rothschild Family were the robbers who took advantage of the Eight-Nation Alliance’s invasion of Huaxia to plunder the twelve zodiac animal heads. Those two Beast Heads originally belonged to Huaxia Country; the Rothschild Family taking them out for auction was already shaless enough. Arica shouldn’t wallow in the mud with such a family—such a family should be expelled, or else Arica will keep taking stray bullets and even keep footing the bill for this bandit clan!
As soon as this line of argunt appeared, it imdiately gained the support of many Arican libertarians. These people spontaneously took to the streets to march and demonstrate, shouting for the Rothschild Family to get out of Arica!
It’s fair to say Clayflo’s actions had already triggered public outrage. When the stock market opened at nine in the morning, not only JK Entertainnt, but even Oltin’s companies and other industries of the Rothschild Family all plunged together. In just a few short minutes, their stock prices went into a straight-line free fall.
Seeing this, let alone Clayflo, even Felix, the current head of the Rothschild Family back at their D Country base camp, couldn’t sit still anymore.
Oltin was even more furious. Because of this so-called Beast Head incident he got innocently implicated: Volcano Park couldn’t keep operating, and half of his money in the stock market evaporated for no reason. How was he supposed to stay calm?
Oltin picked up his phone and dialed Clayflo. As soon as the call connected, before the other side could react, he started swearing straight away, almost cursing Clayflo out till his head was covered in dog blood.
Clayflo was also holding in a bellyful of anger he had nowhere to vent. Oltin’s tirade made him both furious and ashad, but he himself knew very well this ss really had started because of him. If he hadn’t tried to screw over Huo Sining, this whole thing could have had a perfectly clean ending.
If he hadn’t leaked the auction to the dia, if he hadn’t provoked that woman surnad Huo again and again, maybe none of this would’ve blown up to this extent. He was the one who ssed everything up.
Clayflo simply never imagined that Huo Sining would hit back this hard, nor did he foresee the whole affair would ultimately escalate into an international incident, drawing global attention.
If public opinion hadn’t reversed, if Windsor Reed hadn’t stepped out to clarify, if Huo Sining hadn’t held that press conference—if the one still standing at the eye of the storm at this mont was Huo Sining—then the one taking all this heat right now would be Huo Sining. Clayflo would of course be delighted, even wishing the whole world would co watch and comnt. The more miserable Huo Sining looked, the happier he’d be.
But now the wind had shifted. The target of dia mockery and ridicule had changed from Huo Sining to him, Clayflo, and even dragged the entire Rothschild Family into the line of fire. Naturally, Clayflo couldn’t be happy anymore.
Clayflo’s face was ashen; knowing the tide had completely turned against him, he finally felt a sense of powerlessness. He understood that this ti he had really provoked soone he couldn’t afford to ss with.
That very afternoon, Clayflo received a call from the D Country base camp. No one knew what was said on the other end, but after he hung up, Clayflo’s face was deathly pale, like his soul had been sucked out of him. The whole person looked drained of life, completely different from the courteous, elegant Duke he had been when facing Huo Sining before.
Of course, as for what kind of fate Clayflo would ultimately face, Huo Sining couldn’t care less. After finishing the press conference, she left the hotel together with Gu Xu and the other old gentlen, heading for the Forbidden City.
Because this incident was so influential, after Huo Sining and her people brought back the two Beast Heads, they had directly sent them into a Forbidden City warehouse. And in order to prevent leaks, over the past few days Huo Sining hadn’t asked about the Beast Heads at all, and hadn’t let anyone into the warehouse, afraid sothing would be noticed and cause extra trouble.
Now that the inner story had been explained clearly, the big stone weighing on everyone’s hearts had finally dropped. Those Beast Heads no longer needed to be hidden away.
So Huo Sining, along with the other old gentlen, went to the Forbidden City precisely to take those two Beast Heads out.
When it ca to taking away the two Beast Heads, Huang Zhenlong was, of course, every kind of reluctant and unwilling. Huo Sining had long since figured out what kind of temperant this old man had.
This director really wants to drag any good thing he sees into the Forbidden City, but these two Beast Heads, after all, were brought back by Huo Sining at great expense of effort and money. With other items, Huo Sining might still compromise and lend them to Huang Zhenlong for exhibition for a few months, but with these two Beast Heads, absolutely not.
