The dragon sniffled.
Her newly transformed human face twisted with fear and pain though her wounds had pletely healed in her human form.
It would be brutal if her face was broken.
Her voice shook as she whispered.
"My parents... they were kidnapped about ten years ago. I wanted to get to the Human world to find them."
She pushed her palm lightly against the ground as if to rise, but her arm trembled violently.
Her naked body was somewhat weak and he could guess it was because she had forced herself to bee a Human.
The dragons in the novel didn’t transform into humans so he wouldn’t know much about them.
"Don’t," Lucius said, placing a hand near her shoulder but not touching her. "We’re live, and you’re not wearing clothes."
"Clothes?" she echoed, tilting her head. "What are those? Is that something I can eat?"
She genuinely didn’t know what clothing was and Lucius couldn’t blame her, the monsters back on the first floor didn’t know it as well.
Her golden eyes drifted downward to the shirt that was covering her.
She tugged at the fabric curiously, exposing a bit of her wondrous cleavage. "Is this the clothes you’re talking abou—"
A sudden gust tore through the air.
Ayela shot past Lucius like a missile, propelled by wind magic far stronger than anything she’d used earlier.
She landed in front of the girl with a dramatic skid, lifted an accusing finger, and glared at Lucius like he’d mitted a war crime.
"Pervert!" Ayela shouted, practically vibrating with outrage. "I’ll wear her your shirt, carry the drone, and you... turn away!"
Lucius blinked, unimpressed.
But for the sake of his social presence, he lifted the P40 drone slowly, holding it like a tired babysitter holding a misbehaving toddler.
"Alright, e on boys," Lucius muttered with a monotone voice. "Let’s go."
He turned the drone away and began ascending, deliberately facing the opposite direction.
Immediately, chat exploded...

Lucius muttered under his breath.
"Damn it," voice so low only the drone’s mic caught it. ’All that time was wasted for nothing...’
Ayela finished wrapping the dragon girl, using his shirt that was big on her body.
’He’s really tall...’ Ayela thought as she blushed.
The dragon girl sniffled again, this time in gratitude rather than fear.
Soon, Ayela carried her upward, wings of wind forming at her back.
Lucius let the drone resume normal filming, then followed.
"Let’s go. They’re waiting for us," Ayela said, heading toward the mountaintop.
Lucius landed smoothly next to the others...
And immediately choked as Vanessa slammed into him with the force of a passionate meteor.
"Hey... hey... calm down, we’re in public—" Lucius managed, patting her back.
Vanessa didn’t calm down.
Blood swirled around her fist, shaping itself into a hardened gauntlet.
She clocked him in the stomach with the speed and accuracy of a disciplinarian mother who had snapped.
Lucius staggered backward, clutching his gut. "What was THAT for?!"
"Idiot..." Vanessa muttered with her cheeks blazing bright red. "Don’t go out there putting yourself in danger like that again."
She stepped closer, pulled a folded shirt from her storage ring, and pressed it firmly into his hands.
"Or are you trying to make me lose another person I love...?"
Lucius froze.
The smile that usually hovered on his lips vanished pletely. He took the shirt with a gentleness that made the nearby Awakeners blink.
"I’m sorry," he said quietly.
Vanessa’s expression softened, only a fraction. "Hey..."
"Yeah?" Lucius asked, pulling on the shirt.
"Pat my head."
Lucius’s inner soul busted.
’The fuck?!’
He stared at her, and she stared back with the unwavering conviction of someone ready to mit war crimes if she was denied this request.
"We’re on livestream and—"
"I won’t cook a feast for you tonight."
His hand shot up and patted her head so fast she nearly levitated.
Vanessa closed her eyes. "Thank you."

Before Lucius could react, a repulser blast slammed into him from behind... disintegrating harmlessly against Infinity.
He turned.
"e on, Luna... you too?"
Luna puffed her cheeks angrily. "My love language is violence."
Lucius raised a brow. "You didn’t say that on the bed last week though."
The drone captured it perfectly.

’But we haven’t done it yet...’ she screamed internally as her face turned scarlet.

Lucius floated over to the group where Ayela, Supreme Man, and Rita awaited.
Supreme Man folded his arms. "What are we going to do with it?"
"It," Lucius repeated, stepping forward and lifting the dragon girl into his arms, "is a her."
The girl gasped softly and clutched his shirt.
"And she’s mine."
Lucius lifted off the ground.
"If you want your own dragon," Lucius continued with a smug voice as he looked at their shocked expressions. "then go find one."
He snapped his fingers.
Instantly, Luna and Vanessa were yanked upward by gentle spatial force, drifting beside him as if he were some cosmic elevator.
"We’re going up," Lucius said.
He rose into the air, pulling his team with him.
Together, they shot above the shimmering boundary of the stairs and into the portal leading to the next floor.
Below them, the remaining Awakeners froze.
Then Supreme Man shouted. "MOVE! WE CAN’T LET HIM TAKE ALL THE CREDIT!"
Everyone erupted into motion, scrambling up the staircase in a chaotic wave.
It was time to go to the third floor.
