A month passed in the blink of an eye.
On the steep mountain wall where sunlight never reaches, the ravine was shrouded in mist all day.
"Success!"
A light whistle ca from above the ravine.
Soon after, two dark figures leaped down from the hundreds of feet high ravine.
One was a Three Realms Eagle as tall as a person, and the other, with a graceful figure, was no less skillful in movent technique than the eagle.
Ye Lingyue and the Three Realms Eagle landed on the ground almost simultaneously.
It had been over a month since she arrived at Dugu Heaven, and she finally completed Zitang Su’s first daily task for her: sweeping parasol leaves and climbing the mountain wall.
From the initial stage where she could only climb a quarter of the way in half a day to now completing the entire climb in four hours, Ye Lingyue’s progress could not be considered small.

The Three Realms Eagle beside them, not very honorably, covered its beak with its wing and laughed wickedly.
"Light the fire." Zitang Su said, and a cluster of black fire jumped out from his slender fingers.
The so-called ’seeing the cauldron’ was actually controlling the fire of the Shishen Cauldron.
Since Ye Lingyue accidentally disrupted the refining of the demon souls and spirits last ti, the secondary refinent now required daily ignition to ensure the fire of the Shishen Cauldron didn’t go out.
Ye Lingyue also noticed that Zitang Su’s fire was Black Fire.
The black fire was as dark as the night, and even though it was just a small cluster, it seed to contain boundless power.

Compared to the Black Fire, her Gray Fire appeared dim, like a firefly in the dark, utterly disparate.
Fortunately, Zitang Su didn’t show any disdain upon seeing Ye Lingyue’s Gray Fire, unlike others. He rely flicked his finger, and the Black Fire leaped under the Shishen Cauldron. Instantly, a black light emitted from the cauldron, and the cries of demon souls and spirits echoed inside.
"Do likewise."
After Zitang Su spoke, with a wave of his sleeve, the Black Fire flew back.
Ye Lingyue mimicked him, flicking her finger, and the Gray Fire fell under the Shishen Cauldron. To her embarrassnt, the Gray Fire flickered a few tis and then extinguished.
"A mistake, let try again."
Ye Lingyue felt like she might cough blood. No matter how many attempts she made, her Gray Fire extinguished upon contact with the Shishen Cauldron, like fire eting water, far from maintaining a burn like the Black Fire could, for a day and night.
Several black lines appeared on Ye Lingyue’s forehead, a deep sense of frustration.
Next to her, the Three Realms Eagle laughed so hard that its feathers trembled, standing up straight imdiately as Zitang Su cast a sideways glance.
"The fire is not enough; need Heavenly Gang Bamboo to ignite it."
Zitang Su didn’t bla Ye Lingyue, seemingly anticipating the result. He produced a gold-red bamboo, broke it into pieces, and gestured for Ye Lingyue to ignite it with her Gray Fire.
Determined, Ye Lingyue tried once more.
To her surprise, this ti, the Gray Fire ignited upon contact with the Heavenly Gang Bamboo as if drenched in oil.
"So, it can be ignited with bamboo. Stingy Zi, why did you only take out one piece, hurry and take more out."
Ye Lingyue bead with joy.
"No more, don’t need that object." Zitang Su shook his head.
His Black Fire required no fuel to ignite in the first place. The bamboo was rely sothing he took from Master Wuya while collecting materials to refine the Heaven and Earth Bracelet for Ye Lingyue. Wuya’s expression back then was as if mourning a loved one.
"Where is that bamboo? I’ll chop so down, okay?" Ye Lingyue felt a surge of frustration. Couldn’t Zitang Su speak in complete sentences?
"Heaven and Earth Array."
Zitang Su seed unwilling to explain more. A flick of his Divine Sense, and Ye Lingyue felt a buzzing in her head, as if being spied upon.
In her Divine Sense, the Heaven and Earth Array manifested.
"Zitang Su, did you already know I possess the Heaven and Earth Array? Who are you, and what’s your relationship with Dan Palace Chen Hongru?"
Ye Lingyue beca alert.
No one knew about her possessing the Heaven and Earth Array. Zitang Su forcing it out of her body ant he could seize it anyti.
"Don’t know."
Zitang Su shook his head.
"Heavenly Gang Bamboo, is in the Heavenly Gang Palace."
After speaking, he relaxed his Divine Sense, and the feeling of being spied upon disappeared from Ye Lingyue’s body.
Ye Lingyue, her expression complex, gazed at Zitang Su. Her wary expression brought a discomfort to his heart like being stung by an insect.
"I won’t harm you."
He hastily added a few words, quietly.
"Forever."
Though softly spoken, Ye Lingyue heard it.
Her expression suddenly softened; she walked in front of Zitang Su and suddenly knelt down.
"Zitang Su, are you in need of a disciple? You’ve trained and given the Heaven and Earth Bracelet, and I have no other way to repay you but to beco your disciple, to serve you well."
Ye Lingyue finished, earnestly gave a few respectful bows.
Zitang Su froze. A faint blush dusted his deity-like features.
She knew he gave her the Heaven and Earth Bracelet?
Of course, soone as clever as her would easily deduce it.
But... why a master-disciple relationship? He didn’t want to be her master.
Because it sounded... so old.
