Around dusk, Ye Lingyue and the others had already been asking around town all day.
Whenever the Water Ghost was ntioned, everyone would shut their mouths tightly, refusing to answer or even allow further questions, and they would drive the people away.

The Mayor, with a group of people, blocked the shrine, preventing Ye Lingyue and the others from approaching.
Faced with this group of unreasonable, troubleso townsfolk, Di Shen and the others felt quite helpless.

"Guangzi, take the kids out first. Leave those who are sick to ."
Ye Lingyue glanced at the struggling townsfolk on the ground, her eyes growing tense.
