The girl has a very clear face, about eleven or twelve years old, her appearance bears a seven or eight-part resemblance to Luo Qianche.
"Miss Qixue, if we sneak out like this and the City Lord finds out, we will be severely punished." Behind the apricot-robed girl, a maid-like girl anxiously says.
"Was that mother when she was young?"

She has heard tales of the rfolk King, but it’s her first ti seeing an actual rfolk.
"I’m not ugly, I’m just not yet of age. In the rfolk Tribe, boys and girls only morph after inheriting rfolk Divine Power at sixteen, after coming of age. I’m just twelve, in four years, once I co of age and return to the Moli Sea to reclaim the rfolk Tribe, I will morph."
The big fish is sowhat aggrieved.
"I see, so right now you are without a ho, that’s so pitiful."
Faced with Mo Li, Luo Qixue is both curious and sympathetic, deciding against releasing Mo Ze.
She knows that now even if Mo Li returns to the Moli Sea, there might not be a chance of survival.
Thus, Luo Qixue secretly brings Mo Ze back to Shui City.
In Shui City, Luo Qixue hides Mo Ze beneath the Water God Waterfall, visiting him secretly every morning and dusk under the guise of Cultivation.
Luo Qixue shares with Mo Ze aspects of Shui City and Human Clan customs and culture, while Mo Ze tells her about things in the Moli Sea.
The hearts of the young pair unknowingly indulged alongside each other for more than three years.
Emotions silently burgeon between them.
These emotions transcend appearance and race.
Yet neither of them expresses it, knowing that one day, both Mo Ze and Luo Qixue understand Mo Ze will leave Shui City to return to the Moli Sea.
That day, eventually, arrives.
Three and a half years later, six months before Mo Ze’s coming of age at sixteen, Mo Ze decides to return to the Moli Sea.
Under the Water God Waterfall, Mo Ze difficultly informs Luo Qixue of his decision.
"Mo Ze, you must return. On the day I turn sixteen, on the Water God Festival, will you co back... please?"
As Mo Ze leaps into the canal, Luo Qixue blurts out.
Her eyes are already misty.
Mo Ze’s fish body churns in the water; he leaps out, his beautiful scales glistening under the Moonlight.
"Qixue, I promise you, I will return."
Watching Mo Ze’s silhouette vanish into the canal, Luo Qixue’s tears finally fall.
"Mo Ze, I’ll wait for you to return, when you return, I’ll marry you."
