"You don’t have to mind, I just... I just like you, I had intended to rely like you silently. I know that I’m not qualified to say I like anyone." Feng Xun spoke like a child experiencing his first awakening of love, unsure of what to say in the mont.

"Since you like , you should take good care of your health." Ye Lingyue burst into laughter upon seeing Feng Xun’s expression.

Feng Xun was stunned, looking at the smiling Ye Lingyue in front of him, her eyes bright and shining like two crescent moons.

Feng Xun felt as if his mind exploded with a bang, unable to hear anything else.

At this mont, he seed to have forgotten even the pain and sickness he carried.

"Ling Yue... Do you not dislike ?" Ever since that day when he revealed his feelings, Feng Xun had been feeling anxious for a long ti, afraid that he might not even be able to remain friends with Ye Lingyue.

"Feng Xun, who in the world would dislike a person like you?" Ye Lingyue teased.

At this ti, Old Sir Mu had soone bring the food they had prepared.

Seeing that Feng Xun had awakened, Old Sir Mu almost cried tears of joy, muttering blessings for the Feng Family ancestors under his breath while casting secretive glances at Ye Lingyue.

Feng Xun had been in a feverish coma for several days and had not eaten at all. He was extrely weak, and Ye Lingyue had also been hungry all day, so Old Sir Mu had prepared food for both of them.

Ye Lingyue saw that the food prepared for Feng Xun consisted only of various ats and fish, with no vegetables or fruits in sight.

"Old Sir Mu, haven’t I already instructed you to prepare a more varied diet? Besides at and fish, your young master needs to eat fresh vegetables and fruits too," Ye Lingyue said dissatisfiedly, looking at the food.

Old Sir Mu opened his mouth, as soone who was normally eloquent, he suddenly didn’t know how to explain.

"Ling Yue, don’t bla the cook, it’s not that they didn’t prepare it, it’s just that I don’t like those foods," Feng Xun weakly spoke up from the couch.

"Old Sir Mu, list all the food ingredients that Feng Xun doesn’t eat," Ye Lingyue commanded after hearing that, raising an eyebrow.

Hearing this, a particularly bad premonition appeared in Feng Xun’s beautiful eyes, and a trace of panic flashed in his eyes as he tried to stop Old Sir Mu with his gaze.

Old Sir Mu glanced at Feng Xun, then at Ye Lingyue who looked every bit the part of a doctor, struggling internally for a mont.

Prince Feng was his young master, but the person before him might soon beco the Young Madam of the Feng Residence.

According to the old rules of the Feng Residence, nine out of ten princes were henpecked, and it seems the future master would still be Miss Ling Yue.

Thinking about this, Old Sir Mu imdiately wrote a long list vigorously.

In just a mont, the list was ready. Ye Lingyue saw that it had everything from radishes, sweet peppers, to various new fruits, and even so seafood – all things Feng Xun disliked.

In Ye Lingyue’s view, anything that was good for the body, Feng Xun disliked it all.

With such a picky diet, Ye Lingyue really wondered how Feng Xun grew to his current stature.

Ye Lingyue really couldn’t stand it anymore.

Without a word, she took it upon herself to leave the Feng Residence, and after a stroll outside, she gathered the freshest fruits and vegetables from Hong ng Heaven to cook a al for Feng Xun.

Looking at the dishes containing radishes, sweet peppers, and plenty of fruits, things that normally wouldn’t appear on Feng Xun’s dining table, it suddenly felt like a grand gathering all laid out in front of him.

On Feng Xun’s handso face appeared a slight reluctance, Ye Lingyue even noticed him pouting, behaving like a picky child.

"Feng Xun, as the saying goes, food is the god of the people. Your body needs dietary nurturing. All of these dishes are made by , you should give them a try," Ye Lingyue insisted while staring at Feng Xun.

Feng Xun glanced at the al, his eyes conveying his dilemma, but he hesitated for a long ti without reaching for the chopsticks.

Unexpectedly, in the next mont, Ye Lingyue grabbed the chopsticks and placed so food in Feng Xun’s bowl.

Looking at Ye Lingyue’s face so close to him, Feng Xun’s ears turned even redder as if burning, he hesitated and then braved himself to eat what Ye Lingyue had served him.

Swallowing it down, Feng Xun almost couldn’t tell the taste. All he knew was that the food was served by Ye Lingyue; just for that reason alone, even if the food in front of him was poison, he could swallow it without frowning.

These vegetables didn’t taste as strange as he imagined; instead, they carried a special, crisp fragrance, quite similar to the scent lingering on Ye Lingyue.

Before he realized it, Ye Lingyue continuously served him bite after bite, and Feng Xun ended up eating two full bowls of food, which nearly brought Old Sir Mu to tears.

"That’s my good boy," Ye Lingyue smiled contently after seeing Feng Xun finish everything. "From today onwards, I’ll manage three als a day for you, and I’ll send fruits and vegetables from the Feng Residence."

These fruits and vegetables were produced in Hong ng Heaven, and their quality had improved significantly with the irrigation from Rainbow Creek.

Even Feng Xun, who was picky, couldn’t stop praising the produce from Hong ng Heaven.

"Ling Yue, you should eat more too, you’re too thin," Feng Xun frowned upon seeing Ye Lingyue eat only a few bites.

"People who practice martial arts are better off being lighter," Ye Lingyue responded casually.

"I like you better a bit plumper," Feng Xun recalled, thinking back to how light Ye Lingyue felt when he held her.

Cough, Ye Lingyue coughed a few tis. In her bowl, there were now several atballs added by Feng Xun’s insisting gaze; she felt she lost the ability to say no and silently ate another bowl of rice.

After the al, Ye Lingyue felt extrely stuffed, but seeing Feng Xun’s face much rosier, she felt it was worth it.

"Feng Xun, there’s sothing I’ve always wanted to ask you, do you know Ghost Emperor Wu Chong?" Seeing that Feng Xun looked much better, Ye Lingyue had the dishes cleared away and casually brought it up.

At the ntion of Wu Chong’s na, Feng Xun’s eyelids twitched.

"I... I’ve heard of his na, but I’ve never t him."

"That makes sense, soone like you should avoid dealing with such eccentric characters, lest he devours you whole," in Ye Lingyue’s view, Feng Xun was like a little lamb, whereas Wu Chong was a ferocious big bad wolf, completely incompatible.

Hearing this, Feng Xun opened his mouth, wanting to say sothing when Old Sir Mu ca in.

"Miss Ling Yue, soone from the Lan Residence is here. The Empress Dowager requests your presence, asking you to co to the palace imdiately." Upon hearing this, Ye Lingyue could only stand up to bid farewell to Feng Xun, promising to visit him again in a few days.
