Ye Lingyue’s request once again surprised Emperor Beiqing; he had originally thought that Ye Lingyue would request sothing else, such as marrying into the Feng Residence.
North of Purple Bamboo Ridge is desolate and secluded; although it is Beiqing’s territory, Emperor Beiqing has long since stopped valuing it.

Her plan was flawless, except for one overlooked detail.
She had not expected Feng Xun to respond to Chen Mu’s provocation and co forward to request using the blade.
Under those circumstances, she could not bear to stop Feng Xun, fearing it would hurt his self-esteem.
But in reality, Feng Xun had fooled everyone.

If Chen Mu thought Feng Xun was incapable and would not use Primordial Power, then the only possibility left was Feng Xun himself.

"Yue Marquis, I am truly sorry, I must have drunk too much to lose my balance like this," Xue Pianran said with a panic-stricken face, repeatedly apologizing. "Your clothing is all dirty now, why not go down and change? I happened to bring a change of clothes, why don’t you follow my maid to change your outfit."
"It has to be this way then," Ye Lingyue, with a look of ’discontent’, could only stand up to bid farewell to Emperor Beiqing before leaving with Lian Yu to change clothes.
Seeing Ye Lingyue leave, joy uncontrollably surged within Xue Pianran.
Feng Xun looked thoughtfully at Xue Pianran for a few monts, as Xue Pianran sneered.
Feng Xun, you really like Ye Lingyue, don’t you? I would like to see, once you discover your Ye Lingyue has turned into an ugly monster, if you will still like her.
