Ye Lingyue did not know if the area would continue to expand after the next upgrade of Hong ng Heaven.
"Is this what you call a hill?"
Ye Lingyue was dumbfounded, standing in front of several towering mountains, with a sense of being misled.
The mountains before her, resembling a human hand, rose to an altitude of at least one or two thousand ters.
You can’t bla the Three-legged Birdn because, unlike humans, Birdn fly and thus have a weaker sense of distance. Anything over ten thousand ters is considered a mountain, and under that, just a hill.

"Boss, Little Zhiyo and Dahuang are missing."
Little Wuya noticed that Little Zhiyo and Dahuang, seen wandering nearby earlier, were now nowhere in sight.
Those two must have been distracted by the butterflies and wandered off the right path.
"Those little troublemakers, the area is dangerous, we need to find them first."
Only then did Ye Lingyue realize that in a mont of inattention, Little Zhiyo and Dahuang had disappeared.
The three of them veered off their path temporarily in the surrounding area, searching for the two creatures.

Unknowingly, they entered an area shrouded in mist.

But at that very mont, Little Zhiyo suddenly felt sothing slam into it from behind.
With a thud, its small body hit the ground, face-first, its mouth full of dirt.
"Zhi~ (Who, who dared to attack this Zhiyo from the shadows?)"
Little Zhiyo was furious, not only from the fall but because the butterfly had vanished without a trace.
Dahuang looked around alertly.
There was nothing unusual apart from a thin layer of fog, everything seed normal.
Despite this, Dahuang felt uneasy as if sothing nearby was watching them unseen.
Dahuang picked up Little Zhiyo, intending to leave the area with it.
Just then, a shadow sprang from behind. Before Dahuang could react, it was swallowed by the shadow.
By the ti Little Zhiyo realized, Dahuang had disappeared.
This infuriated Little Zhiyo.
It let out an angry roar, and its small snowball-like body swelled to several tis its original size.
But the shadow only appeared for a brief mont to devour Dahuang before vanishing.
The surroundings were eerily silent, with no movent whatsoever.
No trace could be found among the trees and bushes alike.
The strange shadow seed to have vanished without a trace.
Little Zhiyo was panicking when suddenly familiar footsteps were heard.
Ye Lingyue and Little Wuya had arrived.
Upon seeing its master, Little Zhiyo was ecstatic and narrated the incident of Dahuang’s disappearance to Ye Lingyue.
Ye Lingyue, startled, searched the vicinity but found no traces of any Wild Beast, demonic energy, or blood.
"It’s the sa thing. The other tribespeople went missing after being ambushed by a shadow, leaving no trace behind either. Your Majesty, could it really be ghosts haunting this area?"
Ba Qian expressed her worry.
"Whether it’s a ghost or a god, we’ll only know once we catch it," Ye Lingyue said seriously.
Dahuang had only just been taken; there was still ti to rescue it before any harm could occur.
Luckily, Ye Lingyue had been cautious earlier, leaving a trace of Divine Sense on Dahuang. With that trace, she could surely find Dahuang’s whereabouts.
Invoking her Divine Sense, Ye Lingyue sighed in relief. Despite the faint signal, the trace on Dahuang was still intact.
The direction indicated by her Divine Sense pointed toward the waist of Six-finger Mountain!
