Dai Chuangxing furrowed his brows: "Do you think your nephew is up to it? He's ambitious, but he only graduated from middle school and has just worked for a few years with no managent experience. Xiaosu's store isn't small, and the manager is really important!"

Vice Director Dai is quite fair and considerate, and he was thinking on behalf of Su Zelin.

He said that, and the director's wife wasn't happy.

Kang Yulian was always a bit partial to her own family. A few years ago, her relatives wanted her to ask her husband to help arrange a decent job for her nephew at the financial academy. Vice Director Dai thought her nephew was undereducated and only arranged positions like dormitory supervisor or security, which were pretty relaxed jobs, but anything better was out of the question.

However, Kang Yulian's nephew thought those jobs were disgraceful and boring, preferring to go to an internet café to work as a network manager.

Because of this, Kang Yulian's relatives had a lot to say about Dai Chuangxing, criticizing Vice Director Dai for being unkind; sitting in such a high position, he wasn't willing to help his own wife's nephew get a good job. Kang Yulian even had several argunts with Dai Chuangxing over this.

Now that there's such a good opportunity, Dai Chuangxing isn't speaking up for her, and is even trying to undermine it. If Su Zelin wasn't there, Kang Yulian might have started a fight with her husband imdiately.

Her face turned stern, and the vice director's wife snorted coldly, "Well then, tell , besides my nephew, who else is suitable?"

This manager must be a trusted confidant, soone with a blood relationship, very close, to keep secrets, after all, it involves personal interests.

Not to ntion, Dai Chuangxing is the only child in three generations, so finding a close person isn't easy, especially one who ets the criteria ntioned by Su Zelin.

Vice Director Dai, after being snapped at by his wife, didn't speak. He couldn't think of a better candidate either.

Seeing this, Su Zelin quickly intervened: "No problem, Auntie's vision is great, and I trust the person she recomnds. High ambition can be a good thing, as such people, in pursuit of a good life, can actually be more driven!" Besides, compared to a degree, what I care more about is practical ability!"

"See, even Xiaosu is saying that; the key really is practical ability. It's funny you're a university vice director and yet so old-fashioned. Many successful business people are from humble backgrounds, and not necessarily well-educated!"

Seeing Su Zelin siding with her, Kang Yulian found her energy.

"Auntie, don't bla Vice Director Dai, I know he's thinking for , worrying about my losses, and hoping to find the perfect candidate, which is why he said that."

Su Zelin was really smart, managing to appease both sides without offending anyone.

However, in terms of stance, he leaned slightly towards Kang Yulian because Vice Director Dai sowhat had no say when it ca to his wife. As long as Kang Yulian was happy, it was much easier to have her help with Dai Chuangxing than convincing him himself.

Dai Chuangxing stayed silent; the last ti he introduced the dormitory supervisor and security positions to his wife's nephew, her relatives were dissatisfied, saying he disregarded family ties, and he felt a bit guilty. Now that Su Zelin had no objections, naturally, he stayed quiet.

"However, Auntie, this matter depends on your nephew's willingness, whether he wants to co over and help . If he's willing, we should set a ti to et and discuss the store's plans soon!"

Kang Yulian was delighted, thinking Xiaosu is truly good with words. Clearly, he's offering soone a cushy job but fras it as if the nephew is helping him. If only Old Dai were this articulate, the whole house wouldn't be filled with old appliances.

"No worries, Xiaosu, you can rest assured, I guarantee he'll be willing. Joining your store is way better than being a lousy network manager; I'll contact him later to bring him over sooner for a eting with you!"

"Alright, no problem!"

Su Zelin smiled slightly.

This is certainly going to work out.

He found a competent manager, did a favor for the vice director's wife, and brought about a successful partnership, achieving three goals in one go.

...

The next day.

In the first two classes of the morning, as soon as Su Zelin arrived in the classroom, Luo Xi placed a docunt in front of him.

"Class monitor, here's the revised class team-building plan. Please have a look!"

"Hmm!"

Su Zelin took it, casually flipped through a few pages, and a look of appreciation flashed across his face.

It's much better than the draft from last ti!

It seems Luo Xi had humbly and earnestly taken his suggestions to heart.

"Not bad, not bad, Ah Xi, you've made great progress. With this, our class's team-building activities can be held anyti!"

Su Zelin gave her a thumbs up.

"Of course, I conducted a lot of research, gathered a ton of opinions, before producing this final draft!"

Being complinted, Luo Xi felt a bit proud.

Previously, as class monitor, she wasn't willing to be soone else's assistant. Now, she actually finds it quite nice.

Being under soone else shows there's room for improvent in your abilities.

When you're above others, it's hard to notice problems.

Because there's no one more skilled to critique and point out flaws, filling in the gaps.

In short, for the first ti being subordinate, Luo Xi experienced a different kind of joy.

Ding Linna laughed: "Ah Xi has been really diligent recently, constantly seeking people to discuss and brainstorm better ideas for this team-building plan. She's worked so hard on your assignnt, class monitor, shouldn't there be a reward?"

Su Zelin nodded: "Nanaz makes a good point. Alright then, Ah Xi, if there's anything you want, just let know. As long as I can fulfill it, I will do my best to do so!"
