While Boss Deng was looking for Han Ruochen fervently, Han Ruochen was trying to fight the waves that were dragging her down. She jumped down from the edge of the cliff because she was confident that she would be able to swim in the sea. After all, she grew up with her grandfather, who was a fisherman and went to the sea every day.
Unlike others, her grandfather didn’t care about the stupid superstitions, such as not taking girls or won to his boat. He not only brought her to his boat but also taught her how to catch fish.
Unfortunately, after he fell off the boat and got lost in the sea, the stigma of not bringing won to the boat strengthened even further and with her father opening a pig farm, the boat was eventually sold off.
When Han Ruochen jumped off the cliff, she had a glimr of hope, thinking that surviving the sea would be much easier than surviving those thugs. But the mont she fell into the water, she felt a huge force dragging her directly to the bottom of the sea. No matter how hard Han Ruochen fought against the force of the sea, she just couldn’t get back up.
Realising that she was slowly losing breath, Han Ruochen felt tears sting her eyes. She silently hated the heavens for letting her down again. Was she going to die like this again? Without getting a chance to take revenge on those who have wronged her? Was her rebirth in vain? What was the point of giving her a chance only to take it back before she could use it? It was too much.
However, no sooner did she start to have such thoughts than the bracelet on her wrist started to glow. This was sothing that her grandfather had given to her when she turned sixteen. Even though the bracelet was simple and crude, this was sothing that Grandpa Han had brought for her from the sea.
Thus, even though the pearl was of low quality, Han Ruochen had worn it from the day she turned sixteen.
In her past life, this pearl was snatched away by Han Ziyan just because her daughter asked for it. Han Ruochen still rembered that after this bracelet fell into the hands of the mother and daughter, their lives started to get better and better.

But what surprised her was the disappearance of the pearl. As soon as the pearl touched her blood, it glowed vibrantly and then disappeared into thin air.
However, the surprises didn’t end there. Han Ruochen realised that she could actually breathe underwater. She could even see clearly under the sea without needing the special gear.
She was quite surprised at the sight in front of her, but Han Ruochen soon accepted the bizarre things that were happening to her. Compared to dying and coming back to life, this was nothing.
Han Ruochen didn’t stop to study her golden finger. First, she needed to get out of here and bring Yang Jianming to justice. Since that bastard dared to harm her, she was going to teach him a lesson.
She swam up the ocean with her skills, and soon her body floated up. As she broke through the surface, she heard the sound of a boat coming her way. Han Ruochen didn’t think twice and started to wave her hands crazily. "Help! Help! Soone pushed in the water, help!"
On the other side, Han Yichen started to worry. He returned ho worrying that if he was a second late, Han Ruochen would be bullied by ng Yunhan, but when he returned, he found out that Han Ruochen hadn’t returned. Han Yichen lost his mood to question his wife and started to pace anxiously in the living room.
Usually, Han Ruochen returned ho by four or five in the evening. However, today she didn’t return even though it was seven. Han Yichen’s old fatherly heart couldn’t help but fret, and he continued to look at the door of the house with a worried look.
ng Yunhan was quite upset due to Han Ruochen’s actions. That girl had refused to hand over her job to Han Ziyan, and now she was returning late. One after another, she was doing everything to make her angry. Thus, ng Yunhan couldn’t help but say sour words, "Why are you so anxious? That girl has been like this since she was a child. She does not care about anything and simply does her own thing. She must be with those friends of hers."
When Han Yichen heard her words, his expression turned as dark as a pot. He turned around and glared at his wife, "Is this what a biological mother should be saying about her own daughter? But then again, you have never treated Ruochen as your daughter. If you did, then why would you have asked her to hand her job to Ziyan?"
"That’s her job that she earned through her own skills, and you want her to give it to Ziyan just like that?"
ng Yunhan was stunned, and so was Han Ziyan. The two of them had not expected Han Ruochen to tattle. All these years, they had bullied her in one way or another, but Han Ruochen had never said a word to Han Yichen, which was why they had beco bolder with their demands.
Suddenly being caught off guard like this, they had no idea what to do.
"You—who told you that?" ng Yunhan threw the sunflower seeds that she was eating and looked at her husband. "Did Ruochen tell you this? I was just looking after her. I didn’t an—"
She was still trying to hand out her excuses when soone knocked on the door.
