Han Ruochen took the bus to the county. It took more than half an hour for them to arrive at the departnt store that was located in the county. The nineties departnt store was a simple building. There were fluorescent lights, spinning racks of polyester and a heavy scent of mothballs as well as floor wax. Han Ruochen had never been to a departnt store in her past life.
Half of the ti, she did not have the money to co to the departnt store; thus, she avoided the place, and when she finally got married and thought of coming to this place, she was ruined by Yang Jiangming and the Yang family. So she had never visited a departnt store. Thus, even though she had the money, Han Ruochen could not help but be a bit careful.
However, because she was with Han Beijiang, she did not show any signs of discomfort on her face and pretended to be confident. Because Han Beijiang was already showing signs of distress, and she did not want to make him even more nervous. She patted him on the back and said to him in a low voice, "It’s okay, Beijiang. Since they were dressed too plainly, no salesperson was willing to pay attention to them. Han Ruochen did not mind it; after all, she had already expected such a thing to happen.
Han Beijiang and Han Ruochen took a look at the clothes that she had chosen, and Han Beijiang liked them very much. The jacket was also nice; it had soft lining and wouldn’t irritate his skin at all. The more Han Beijiang touched them, the more he liked it. In the end, Han Ruochen chose three sets of clothes for him, along with three sets of clothes for Han Jianyou as well. She knew that the brat had quite a lot of complaints when it ca to their family. She did not want him to lose his temper with her over sothing so small.
Once she was done buying the clothes for the two children, Han Ruochen was determined to return ho, but Han Beijiang had other plans. As they passed by the won’s clothing section, he tugged at Han Ruochen’s shirt and pointed at the plain pink jacket that was on display in the store’s section. Han Ruochen raised her head and looked at the jacket that Han Beijiang was pointing at and said to him, "I don’t need it. I am going to work on the motorboat. What is the point of buying this pink jacket?"
This jacket belonged to soone who wanted to dress up and look pretty; Han Ruochen did not want to do that.
However, Han Beijiang was also stubborn. He wanted his sister to look pretty. His sister always wore clothes that were hand--downs from Han Ziyan, and he did not want his sister to wear clothes from that bad sister who always pinched him when no one was looking.
When Han Ruochen saw that the little boy was determined, she had no other choice; with a sigh, she entered the won’s clothing store. As soon as she stepped inside, she realised that she had been too careless with her clothing. The blouse and pants that she was wearing were clearly outdated.
"Sister! Sister!" Han Beijiang dragged Han Ruochen to the clothing section, where he chose a white shirt with the pink jacket and a pair of fashionable pants for Han Ruochen to try. Han Ruochen looked at the clothes that her brother had chosen for her and did not have the heart to refuse him. She took the clothes from him and pinched his cheeks before saying, "Alright, sister will try these clothes for you."
Han Ruochen took the clothes and went behind the curtain, but when she erged in the white pants with a matching shirt, a pink short jacket and a scarf, she looked really beautiful.
The proprietress had been ignoring the two for a while, as she did not believe that they could buy the clothes. But when she saw Han Ruochen erging from behind the curtains, she was stunned. "Little sister, are you a movie star? You look really beautiful!" The proprietress had never thought that the scarf could be tied around the neck like that. She couldn’t help but ask, "Little sister, are you looking for a job? If you do, then you can co here and work as a stylist. You really know your thing."
She could tell from the outfit that Han Ruochen had arranged for herself that the woman was really sharp. She was just like the stylists in the magazine. This was sheer talent.
Han Ruochen smiled, pursing her lips, and said to the proprietress. "Thank you for thinking so highly of , but ma’am, I have a fishing boat, and I am thinking of going out to sea."
The proprietress was quite shocked when she heard Han Ruochen say that she owned a fishing boat. Usually, won never went to the sea but at the sa ti she was impressed who would have thought that such a young woman was the owner of a fishing boat?
"Then can I take so pictures of you? If you don’t mind, then I will put them in my store’s catalogue."
