Uncle Bo did not say anything. He simply shook his head and then calculated the cost of the things that Han Ruochen had brought.
"Alright, sixteen jins of earth dragons. They are sold for five hundred yuan a jin, so I will give you eight thousand yuan for these and as for the conches, they are sold for two hundred and forty yuan a jin, so I will give you a total of five thousand and eighty yuan."
"All the seafood that you have brought amounts to thirteen thousand and eighty yuan."
After Uncle Bo finished speaking, he quickly handed Han Ruochen the money. This sum already exceeded Han Ruochen’s expectation, and she couldn’t believe it for the ti being. It seed like Uncle Bo was looking after her because of her connection to the Zhai family. Han Ruochen sighed; she had never wanted to owe anything to the Zhai family, but in the end, she still ended up being indebted to them.
However, this was good as well; as long as she could earn so money, she did not mind owing a few favours to the Zhai family. At most, she would repay them in the future; for the ti being, she just needed to save money!

She had finally received a holiday after working for an entire week and wanted to take so rest, but more than that, she wanted to get so money from her mother. Her mind was full of the money and the new job that she wanted to get, and she did not even look at the expression of her mother. "Mom, can you please give so money... Because of Han Yichen’s threats, she had no other choice but to think twice before making a decision when it ca to spending money.
ng Yunhan doted on Han Ziyan a lot. Thus, as long as Han Ziyan made a request, she would think of a way to fulfil it, even if it ant that she had to rely on eating vegetarian als for weeks. As such, even though she had been working for quite so ti, she had never been able to save much money. If she wanted to save so money for Han Ziyan’s dowry, then she needed to make sure that she would be able to save enough money every day, or else things would be troubleso.
Hence, there was no way she could get such a large sum for Han Ziyan; even her husband would never agree.
"Mom, you don’t have money, but Han Ruochen does have it." Han Ziyan said to her mother. "You can simply make her pay for it and then ask Dad for the remaining three thousand."
In this way, she would be able to get enough money to not only pay for the compensation but also for the job. That way she would be able to get best of both worlds.
