Han Ruochen initially didn’t want to expose the truth about ng Yunhan giving their family’s savings to soone else, and that too to her old lover. Of course, Han Ruochen was not stupid enough to expose the matter of Yun Xinye right away. She didn’t have enough evidence to prove that ng Yunhan was having an affair, and if she were to expose the truth right now, she would only give ng Yunhan an opportunity to turn the situation around.
But ng Yunhan kept threatening her freedom; Han Ruochen could not help it and revealed ng Yunhan’s little secret. She wanted to see what ng Yunhan was going to do once her father found out that she had stolen all of their savings.
It was also ti for her to let her father know what the situation at ho was; she didn’t want her father to continue working hard only to fill the hole that her mother had created foolishly.

For Han Ziyan’s sake, if this woman wanted to harm his daughter, then he would hit her when it hurt the most.
"MOM!" Han Ziyan was frightened. She knew what kind of man her mother was going to marry Han Ruochen off to; if Han Yichen was serious, then her future was going to be ruined!
"Why are you yelling at Ziyan for?" ng Yunhan was like a cat whose tail had been stepped on. She glared at Han Yichen and said, "Character cos before anything else. Clearly, it was simply unreasonable, as Han Ziyan has a rendezvous with her soon-to-be brother-in-law, but ng Yunhan was speaking as if it made all the sense.

"Aunt Luo told that she heard Mother asking the matchmaker to bring a rich man’s proposal for . She told the matchmaker that no matter what the age, even if the man is sixty years old, as long as he provides a good bride price, she is willing to marry off to him. I want to ask, what is going on? Why is my mother so desperate for money? Is it because we really don’t have money or is it because she cannot see doing well?"
"Nonsense, how can my, Han Yichen’s, daughter be married off to an old man, and that too for a high bride price?" Han Yichen’s face was as fierce as an old tiger as he sensed sothing amiss. No matter how brave and courageous ng Yunhan was, she would never be daring enough to marry Han Ruochen off to an old man unless she was in a desperate situation.
"ng Yunhan, hand the passbook; I want to see the savings statent," he recalled the strange look on ng Yunhan’s face when they argued about the passbook the last ti and suddenly he understood everything.
"See...see...what do you an by this? Are you doubting , Old Han?" ng Yunhan was so scared that she stamred, and her tone turned faint.
