Sheng Xian who saw Yan Baihu’s army slowly descending to chaos seized the opportunity, launching a concentrated attack from the front, pushing in against Yan Baihu’s army creating a pincer movent that further disoriented Yan Baihu’s soldiers.
The elent of surprise worked in favor of Lu Jun and Sheng Xian, turning the tide of the battle for Sheng Xian who’s starting to look bad for him previously.
Yan Baihu, caught between the two forces, faced a formidable challenge as his army slowly crumbled under the joint assault, and the chain of communication between his ranks also crumbled.
Amidst the clash of swords and the thunderous roar of battle, Yan Yu and Chen Mu fought side by side, leading their units to create a safe zone for Yan Baihu.
The collaboration between the two allows Yan Baihu to be safe from danger, for now.
In the midst of the chaos, as Yan Yu and Chen Mu fought side by side, Chen Mu abruptly turned around, delivering a devastating blow to Yan Yu’s back.
Yan Yu who was struck by Chen Mu, turned his head toward Chen Mu whilst in shock about what had just transpired.
Yan Yu with blood seeping from his mouth, faces Chen Mu with a mix of shock, pain, and anger.
He struggled to comprehend the betrayal that Chen Mu committed, his voice strained as he asked Chen Mu why he did it.
Chen Mu with his expression cold and calculating, offered no imdiate explanation to Yan Yu who is a dying man now, all of Yan Yu’s n were also in shock about what had just occurred when Chen Mu’s n suddenly attacked them taking them by surprise, just like what Chen My did to Yan Yu.
