While Lu Bu was being checked by the doctor for the poison that was inflicted by the assailants, the words of Lu Bu being poisoned soon spread throughout his entire army alongside the need for Zhang Miao and Xu Si’s betrayal and beheaded as their punishnt.
Their morale imdiately hit rock bottom, Zhang Miao and Xu Si’s betrayal was already big news, and the rumor that Lu Bu had been poisoned imdiately caused their will to fight since their spiritual leader was wounded and couldn’t lead them.
The news that Lu Bu was poisoned soon reached Cao Cao and Lie Fan’s desks respectively, Cao Cao got the information from his spies while Lie Fan received the news from the Oriole.

While all of this is happening, from the North East side of Beihai, a small sized army is approaching Beihai and the one leading It is Gao Shun who managed to escape the small town in Lean County.
Gao Shun managed to escape by creating an illusion that he and his army were defeated and retreated inside the Prefect’s Castle, abandoning the Walls where Yu Jin and Sun Guan took the bait.
Then Gao Shun and his n hid inside civilian houses near the gate, and when Yu Jin with Sun Guan stord in alongside their n heading toward the Prefect’s Castle, Gao Shun and his n left the small town bringing the supplies alongside them.
Of course outside the town, there are still so of Yu Jin and Sun Guan’s soldiers who haven’t entered the town, after fighting their way out they imdiately head toward Beihai while being chased by so of Yu Jin and Sun Guan’s n before they decide to stop chasing Gao Shun and his n.
After escaping the town, with just a small amount of rest ti, Gao Shun led his unit toward Beihai while also keeping Yu Jin and Sun Guan at a distance from him so that they couldn’t capture him.
Tired in body and mind, Gao Shun kept leading his unit until they reached Beihai, and seeing the condition Beihai in right now being surrounded by Cao Cao and Liu Bei’s encampnt caused him to have a headache on how to get inside.
Fortunately, he rembers that Beihai has the Northern Gate which has low traffic due to it not being part of the main road, and Cao Cao and Liu Bei don’t put much of their forces there.
Gao Shun led his unit toward the Northern Gate where after resting for a bit, Gao Shun led the charge to storm Cao Cao and Liu Bei’s n, fighting their way through toward Beihai’s Northern Gate.
At Beihai’s Northern Gate, the one guarding it was Houc Cheng, and when he saw the commotion in Cao Cao and Liu Bei’s army encampnt, he ordered his n to be alert in case they suddenly attacked.
Then he saw a unit break through the encampnt with carriage and wagons, racing through the plains heading toward his location, and when he saw Gao Shun Hou Cheng imdiately ordered for the gate to be opened.
Hou Cheng’s n opened the gate, allowing Gal Shun and his n to enter Beihai safely while Cao Cao and Liu Bei’s n stopped their pursuit seeing that they had managed to enter Beihai.
Inside Hou Cheng hugged Gao Shun as he had feared the worst for him, leading a small army and his unit to Lean County without any reinforcent and hadn’t returned for so long.
Gao Shun then explained to Hou Cheng what transpired, how he was surrounded by a small town and managed to escape, then raced toward Beihai with only ya short amount of rest ti to escape Cao Cao and Liu Bei’s n’s pursuit.
Hou Cheng hearing the story had cold seat all over his face and his back, he didn’t expect that Gao Shu would experience such a hard ti, and seeing the supplies he brought, Hou Chenh realized that Gao Shun had sacrificed many n for this supply to arrive safely.
After putting the supply at the warehouse and letting Gao Shun’s n take their rest, Hou Vheng alongside Gao Shun headed toward the room where Lu Bu was being dically treated.
Hou Cheng explained to Gao Shun what happened to Lu Bu on the way there, so when they arrived Gao Shun didn’t ask Lu Bu what happened to him but reported to Lu Bu that the assignnt he had given to him had been completed.
Seeing Gao Shun have returned safe and sound, even completing the assignnt he gave to him, Lu Bu stood up under the protest of the others and pat Gao Shun on the shoulder, thanking him for the service he had done and allowing him to take a rest, while at the sa ti ordered Chen Gong to hold a feast for his army to raise their morale tonight after knowing the rumor of him being poisoned have spread.
