When both Wannian and Sima Yi were gone, the hall beca awkward for a while before Yu Yan broke it by asking everyone to join her and Lie Shang to play in the garden with their grandchildren.
To relieve the awkward atmosphere, everyone agreed and so they left the hall together heading toward the garden, and when all of this happened at Jixan far from their location, the battle between Liu Biao’s Army and Liu Bei’s Army began to enter it’s last chapter.
Both Lu Gong and Huo Jun who rode out to the battlefield leading their units, attacked Liu Pan and his unit which was the first gate formation of the Eight Gate Formation.
Lu Gong leads his set of elite infantries and adopts a line formation albeit raises their shield like the shield wall formation, to block the arrows that were shot toward them.
They co into contact with Liu Pan and his unit, where no side has any advantage over the other but when Huo Jun with his elite cavalry units enter the equation, the advantage slowly falls to Liu Biao’s side.
It wasn’t because Huo Jun and Lu Gong’s unit could suppress Liu Pan’s unit, but because Liu Pan who was leasing the formation was facing both Huo Jun and Lu Gong in a fight between the generals.
Liu Pan was slowly suppressed which caused the line of communication between him and his unit to disarray, Ju Shou alongside Kuai Yue noticed this so they sent out an order to Guan Yu to help Liu Pan.
Guan Yu who received the order, imdiately led his cavalry unit with him passing through the gates formation and heading toward Liu Pan’s location when he arrived the favor imdiately shifted toward Liu Bei’s Army side.
With Guan Yu entering the equation, in an instant, it was Huo Jun and Lu Gong’s turn to be suppressed by Liu Pan and Guan Yu.
Liu Pan: “Brother Huo Jun and General Lu Gong please surrender!
I don’t want I harm you in any way, it was thanks to the two of you that I could start my career in Liu Biao’s Army before, so I hope that the two of you can co peacefully.” Lu Gong: “Humph!

Liu Pan was just standing there watching the exchange between Guan Yu against Huo Jun and Lu Gong, where the two were slowly suppressed by Guan Yu, and seeing how lethal Guan Yu’s attack was, Liu Pan finally did sothing that surprised Guan Yu.
Liu Pan stepped forward and using the handle of his glaive, attacked Huo Jun and Lu Gong with it and when the two were guarding against Guan Yu’s attack, Liu Pan hit both of them on the head using the handle of his glaive knocking them out cold.
Guan Yu was surprised and turned toward Liu Pan, asking him what the aning of this in which Liu Pan explained that Huo Jun and Lu Gong were two great generals who could be valuable additions to Liu Bei, and by taking them as prisoners at least they could keep their family safe from any of Cai Mao’s movent.
Hearing this Guan Yu was silent for a while and finally nodded his head agreeing with what Liu Pan had just done, so then he helped Liu Pan tie both Huo Jun and Lu Gong before he brought them toward Ju Shou and Kuai Yue’s location.
At Cai Mao’s platform, when he heard that both Huo Jun and Lu Gong were captured by Guan Yu he was angered by the extre, and in the mont of anger slapped Wang Can in the back of his head calling him all of this was caused by him, now there are no top generals at his disposal where this could be the end for them to lose this battle, and Wang Can who was mistreated ti and ti again began to resent Cai Mao heavily.
