Go to spatreon/Tang12 ___________________________ He turned to the side to see who attacked him and saw that it was Ma Teng, he was surprised at first but soon beca solemn and without saying any word attacked Ma Teng using his glaive and Ma Teng received his attack with his spear, two traded blow after blow and slowly Ma Teng gained the upper hand over Han Sui as he was much better at martial arts and much stronger compared to Han Sui.

Han Sui knowing that he is being pushed into the corner by Ma Teng, tried his best to parry attack after attack from Ma Teng trying to buy ti for his generals to arrive not knowing that they would never co.

Feeling Han Sui’s counterattack was weaker with each move he made, Ma Teng took his ti before giving the ultimate blow to Han Sui because he knew that Han Sui was definitely waiting for his generals, that he had managed to see through him and have placed his eldest son and best general to block his generals.

As ti slowly passed by Han Sui began to grow restless, because he didn’t see any sign of his generals coming to save him and he began to panic, causing so of his movent to Ma Teng’s attack to beco uncoordinated.

Seeing and feeling this, Ma Teng finally sees the chance he was waiting for and using all of his strength lets out a massive attack on Han Sui’s abdon, which causes him to be knocked down but not killing him as his armor managed to protect him from the killing blow.

As he was on the ground, Han Sui could feel his abdon in incredible pain when he tried to stand up and when he touched his abdon he felt that it was wet and when he looked at it he could see blood was oozing out from the wound on his abdon.

Han Sui seeing this let out a loud laugh which attracted the attention of the soldiers around him and Ma Teng who were fighting, seeing that Han Sui was in a precarious situation so soldiers tried to save him but were blocked by Ma Teng’s n.

Ma Teng: “Han Sui just surrender!

You’re in no condition to fight anymore, just give up and we can return to our original partnership!

Of course with so changes in our previous terms.” Han Sui: “Haha!

Ma Temg I didn’t expect that there today that I would be defeated in a sche by you!

You ask to surrender?

Are you sure?

You knew that leaving alive is giving a chance to pay back what you have done to today.” Ma Teng: “Humph!

Just co who is afraid of your retaliation?

Maybe after this, you won’t have enough power to keep and feed your army, there you won’t have enough ti to even think about payback.” Han Sui: “You overconfident bastard!

Hahaha!

Fine since that’s what you think fine!

I surrender to you but know this, I will definitely prove to you that I can pay back what you owe today, and when you realize that maybe you will be on your deathbed haha!” Ma Teng heard what Han Sui just said and ignored him as he soon would have less power with the plan he had in his mind, which was to defraud Han Sui’s controlled town in his hands to his control.

Don’t see this as a bad move it actually was a good move, because without this town Han Sui would receive less inco and without his inco, he couldn’t pay his n and feed them which would weaken his army.

Less inco also ans that Han Sui has to live a more diocre lifestyle compared to the one he has now, which gives Ma Teng so sort of satisfaction seeing his frenemies and rivals have a worse lifestyle than him.

Ma Twng tied Han Sui up with a rope that was given by one of his elite guards who stayed by his side, and when Han Sui was tied up Ma Teng then asked for all of Han Sui’s n to put their weapons down as their leader have been captured by him.

Hearing this statent, one by one Han Sui’s n put their weapons down and Ma Teng ordered his n to subdue Han Sui’s surrendered n, he also told one of his guards to inform Ma Chao and Pang De that he had managed to subdue Han Sui, and to told Han Sui’s n to surrender.

The guard cupped his hand and rude his horse heading toward Chang’An Western Gate, where Ma Chao and Pang De were located holding back the bulk of Han Sui’s Eight Riders Generals with their n.

Ma Chao and Pang De were guarding the Western Gat with all of their might, not allowing Cheng Yi, Cheng Yin, Hou Xuan, and Li Kan who were part of Han Sui’s Eight Riders Generals any chance to slip through.

While doing so, they actually feel a bit sad for the people of Chang’An who got caught in the crossfire, because Cheng Yi, Cheng Yin, Hou Xuan, and Li Kan’s n looted so of the houses where they kill and even raped causing so social chaos.

Ma Chao seeing this was furious, filled with justice and virtues inside his heart he tried to save the people of Chang’An that was implicated as best as he could but Pang De held him off as they didn’t have many n to spare with them defending against Cheng Yi, Cheng Yin, Hou Xuan, and Li Kan.

It was at this ti when Ma Teng’s guard finally arrived, entering the western gate through a ladder that was placed from the outside, he approached Ma Chao and Pang De informing them of what had transpired and Ma Teng’s order.

Hearing this both Ma Chao and Pang De were overjoyed as their purpose had been achieved, Pang De then took the lead in informing Han Sui’s generals that Han Sui had surrendered and asked them to lower their weapons.

At first, no one believes Pang De’s words but as ti goes by seeing that both Ma Chao and Pang De stopped attacking them, but just defending against their attack, they can see that what Pang De has said before is the truth.

Agonizing as to why their Lord surrendered, Cheng Yi, Cheng Yin, Hou Xuan, and Li Kan finally lowered their weapons and ordered their n to do the sa, and this signaled the internal struggle between Ma Teng and Han Sui for control over Chang’An.

When this battle finally ended, another battle that ended far from their location at Jixan in Jing Province, Liu Bei’s Army was doing a census before going back to Xiagyang led by Kuai Yue, and when it was done Liu Bei’s army suffered a total of 15,000 casualties from this battle.

This was a huge blow but they managed to capture 20,000 of Liu Biao’s n, so in Kuai Yue’s eyes they could replenish Liu Bei’s Army in a fast ti and have a surplus of 5,000 n.

After done with the census, Ju Shou and Kuai Yue decided to return back to Xiangyang where they spent around 2 and a half weeks before reaching Xiangyang, where they were greeted by Liu Bei accompanied by Kuai Liang and Wang Xiu at Xiangyang’s gate.

The victory of his army caused Liu Bei to be very happy when he received the news and was in a good mood, so he ca to the gate to drive his army returning from the frontline.

Kuai Liang and Wang Xiu hearing this imdiately join Liu Bei, so the returning army seeing Liu Bei waiting for them and greeting them was touched by Liu Bei’s gesture, especially Guan Yu and Zhang Fei who was almost brought to tears.

Guan Yu and Zhang Fei imdiately circled their elder brother, saying that he shouldn’t have waited for them here and Liu Bei who heard this waved his hand, saying that it’s what he should do as a Lord.

Ju Shou and Kuai Yue at this ti stepped forward, then inford Liu Bei of the captured Huo Jun and Lu Gong whom the two had tried to recruit for Liu Bei seeing as Liu Bei lacked talented generals.

Hearing that there were generals that he could recruit, Liu Bei’s eyes lit up but he managed to conceal it from others except for Kuai Liang, who had beco suspicious of Liu Bei.

Liu Bei told them to bring Huo Jun and Lu Gong forward, as he wanted to talk with the two of them right now to see if they wanted to join him, if not they could be released, given so ration and water, a horse, and allowed to return to Liu Biao.

Hearing Liu Bei’s decision, every one of his retainers objected but Liu Bei waved his hand and said that his decision was final.

When Ju Shou wanted to object, at this ti two guards brought Huo Jun and Lu Gong to Liu Bei.

Seeing that they were still tied, Liu Bei ordered them to be released from the ropes, and no one objected because Guan Yu and Zhang Fei were standing beside Liu Bei so his safety was guaranteed.

Liu Bei: “General Huo Jun and Lu Gong, welco back to Xiangyang!

I’m Liu Bei as the two of you must have known, I would like to apologize first for your inconvenience on the way to Xiangyang.” Lu Gong: “Lord Liu Bei is too kind, we are prisoners of war who were defeated fair and square, so we accepted whatever treatnt we received whether it’s good or bad, but we can say that Lord Liu Bei was the kindest.” Huo Jun: “What General Lu Gong says is true, even though we were never captured but this is the kindest and most humane treatnt given to prisoners of war, but I don’t know the reason as to why Lord Liu Bei does this.” Liu Bei: “Haha then I talk frankly since General Huo Jun talked like that, the reason is that I wanted to invite the two generals to co and serve as my generals, now don’t worry if you want to refuse you can, and that you will be given so ration and water, a horse, and allowed to return back to Brother Liu Biao.” Lu Gong: “Really?

This is too good to be true Lord Liu Bei, what if we imdiately refused and wanted to return to Lord Liu Biao?

And also even if we wanted to accept, what about our family in Jiangling?” Liu Bei who heard this shook his head with a smile and said that if they decided to return, he would let them leave without any repercussions and guaranteed that they would not be pursued.

On the other hand, if they accepted his invitation then he would try his best to rescue their family from Jiangling and that’s a promise.

Hearing this, both Huo Jun and Lu Gong who were constantly being ill treated by Cai Mao and ignored by Liu Biao were touched to the core as there is a Lord as kind as Liu Bei, and without further ado, they imdiately swore their allegiance to Liu Bei, causing Liu Bei who hear this smiled happily while coming forward to help them stand up as they kneel to swore their allegiance to Liu Bei.
