Go to spatreon/Tang12 ___________________________ While Cai Mao was doing his last preparation, he didn’t notice that Huo Jun and Lu Gong alongside their unit were separating from the main formation, and when Cai Mao wanted to turn his head to Liu Bei’s Army, suddenly from their rear they heard the sound of people shouting and rocks were thrown toward their location, and when he walked toward the opposite side of the wall he was surprised by the sight he saw.

He saw hundreds even thousands of people in Jiangling protesting and shouting words demanding food, he even saw so people raising their hoes and pitchforks in protest, and even so short swords could be seen from his location.

He was shocked because this riot or protest was too sudden, there was no sign that a riot or protest would happen and now it happened when Liu Bei’s Army was on their doorstep.

This caused Cai Mao to imdiately conclude that it was incited by Liu Bei so that the riot could happen because there was no news and now it suddenly happened.

Before he could react to give an order, suddenly rocks were thrown toward him and Liu Biao’s Army, hitting so of the soldiers on top of the wall.

This angered Cai Mao and when he wanted his n to imdiately disperse the rioters with force, he suddenly heard the sound of a war drum coming from Liu Bei’s Army direction.

He turned around and saw Liu Bei’s Army advancing toward Jiangling alongside their battering ram, they used a three headed formation where the middle formation was one or two steps ahead of the left and right formation.

Seeing how coordinated Liu Bei’s Army was in beginning their offensive, Cai Mao decided to split a small number of his n to disperse the rioters while he led the rest to combat Liu Bei’s Army.

Cai Mao told his n to raise the wooden palisade to guard against arrows and possible catapult attacks in case Liu Bei’s Army brought catapults, to reduce the impact of the arrows and stoneshitting his n.

This is sothing he thought of in case he needed to command a defensive siege battle, which makes him very proud even though this kind of tactic could backfire, sothing that Wang Can has told Cai Mao but was ignored.

Why could it backfired, because it could block the view of Cai Mao’s n from seeing what was happening on the battlefield, and not knowing what the enemies were doing is a suicide because they are going to the battle blind.

Sun Tzu the most revered strategist even told us to know our enemy and that we would win 100 battles, and now Cai Mao wanted to go against the teaching that stayed true for a long ti which was mindblowing in Wang Can’s mind.

But as he was ignored by Cai Mao there was nothing he could do except pray that the battle would go in their favor, because if Liu Biao retreated to Changsha then it would an that Liu Biao wasn’t the hegemony of Jing Province any more.

He has lost countless battles, where the first one caused him to lose his capital Xiangyang, the second one losing the battle against the Sun Clan, the third lost Jiangxia to Lie Fan, and the last one lost at Jixan against Liu Bei’s Army.

This defeat after defeat caused a huge blow to Kiu Biao’s prestige and stature as the hegemon of Jing Province, one that would beco sothing in the past for Liu Biao.

So Cai Mao and Liu Biao’s Army finally clashed with Liu Bei’s Army under the leadership of Guan Yu, the clash between both armies wasn’t a big one as Liu Biao’s army was truly on the defensive.

Except for arrows being shot and stones being thrown down, all of the soldiers were taking cover behind the wooden palisade which causes them to be sowhat blind to what’s happening below the wall of Jiangling.

Siege ladders were placed on the wall of Jiangling easily due to the lack of resistance, causing Liu Bei’s n to climb the walls, and from there, it beca sowhat hard for Liu Bei’s n to pass through the wall due to the wooden palisades.

Cai Mao smiled smugly seeing this as he thought that his plan was marvelous, unbeknownst to him due to the lack of view he had over the battlefield, Huo Jun and Lu Gong led their unit toward the designated secret entrance on the west of Jiangling.

Both Huo Jun and Lu Gong spend a moderate amount of ti before they find the secret entrance, and no one sees them because Liu Biao’s attention is on the rioters inside Jiangling and Liu Bei’s Army under Guan Yu’s leadership outside of Jiangling.

The two of them managed to infiltrate Jiangling easily, the secret entrance passed through the empty alley that was very dirty, full of trash and leftover building materials that weren’t used anymore.

So they had to fight over the bad sll and trash that was all over the ground, and due to the small entrance they had to enter in small groups, which also took so ti.

At this ti while this was happening, one of Liu Bei’s spies incited the rioters to cause even more ruckus and finally spark a fire that caused them to go into anarchy, using their hoes, pitchforks, and short swords to attack Liu Biao’s n.

The sudden turn of events caught Liu Biao’s n off guard and since they were attacked, they had to defend themselves and also hit back at the rioters who were mostly farrs.

This caused them to kill innocent civilians, which raised an alarm for Wang Can who was on the wall of Jiangling alongside Cai Mao, he tried to calm down the situation and ordered the soldiers to stand their weapons.

Unfortunately for him, he was ignored and the soldiers began to hit back more fiercely.

Seeing all of this happening, Wang Can beca sure that Liu Biao’s reign as hegemon of Jing Province had co to an end.

As the battle of Jiangling began to enter a fiercer stage, the Northeast of their location located at Xiapi, was filled with a festive atmosphere to celebrate the marriage of Lie Fan and Lu Lingqi.

When the marriage announcent was announced to Lie Fan’s Court, none of his retainers was surprised especially Jia Xu, who had long raised Lu Lingqi’s importance in the Oriole’s list of protection.

Since Lie Fan will hold his marriage, his advisors have drafted an announcent for the people of Xiapi and All of Lie Fan’s domain to celebrate the marriage between Lie Fan and Lu Lingqi.

The people of Xiapi and Xu Province who had long lived under Lie Fan’s reign, were very happy for their Governor and Lord.

As for the Nobles, rchants, and Scholars was very disappointed as none of their daughters have managed to cause Lie Fan to take interest.

Right now Lie Fan was at his residence, where the entire family mbers of the Lie Clan were present, and the betrothal ceremony and vows rituals exchange were the sa as the ones that were done by Lie Fan during his marriage to Ying Yue, Diao Chan, and Cai Wenji.

Ying Yue, Diao Chan, and Cai Wenji stayed in the Lie Clan residence, to receive guests who were invited to the marriage ceremony, and since Lie Fan’s position was incomparable to when he married his previous wives, the number of guests was much larger compared to the previous ones.

Lie Fan gets on his horse Pangu, accompanied by his parents, bodyguards, retinue, and an entourage of servants bringing the betrothal gifts, the party goes towards the Lu Clan’s residence.

Since Lu Bu had already passed and there were no male mbers in the Lu Clan, Lady Yan decided to have herself be the one to receive Lie Fan and his entourage, accompanied by Chen Gong and Hou Cheng.

The Tian Mao battalion was marching beside Lie Fan’s entourage with Xu Ring at the helm, to establish a periter so that the commoners couldn’t get close to Lie Fan and his party.

In the Lie Clan Residence, the guests co one by one, received by Ying Yue, Diao Chan, and Cai Wenji alongside Wannian and Sima Yi who had sowhat lender their relationship after the previous incident, where none talk about what happened before.

Of course, there was so awkwardness between the two of them but they didn’t touch this topic whatsoever, and knowing that they were well Ying Yue, Diao Chan, and Cai Wenji heaved a sigh of relief.

While that was happening, Lie Fan and his entourage finally arrived at the Lu Clan’s residence, where they entered the mansion where Lady Yan alongside Chen Ging and Hou Cheng was waiting for them in the main hall.

There the wedding steps rituals were the sa as Ying Yue, Diao Chan, and Cai Wenji’s marriage with Lie Fan, and the difference was that the amount Lie Fan gave for the betrothal gift was much larger, due to Lu Clan’s condition.

Lie Fan and Lady Yan then symbolically exchanged betrothal gifts and dowry with Lie Shang and Yu Yan present, and then Lu Lingqi was brought in by the maids to the main hall after the exchange was done.

Lie Fan seeing Lu Lingqi was srized, even though her face was closed by the red cloth, he could sowhat still see Lu Lingqi’s face, never thought that he would see Lu Lingqi beco this feminine.

Seeing this, Lie Shang nudged Lie Fan waking him up where he cupped his hand toward Lady Yan and said that he would care for Lu Lingqi for all of his life, after Lady Yan received it with tears in her eyes Lie Fan left the Lu Clan residence.

Lie Fan led the party to return to the Lie Clan’s residence to do the vows rituals, where Lu Lingqi was put inside the carriage with her heartbeats speeding up each ti knowing that she was closer and closer to the Lie Clan residence.

Arriving at the Lie Clan residence, Lie Fan and Lu Lingqi co together to the main hall with Lie Shang and Yu Yan.

Ying Yue, Diao Chan, and Cai Wenji alongside Wannian and Sima Yi are waiting there.

After Lie Shang and Yu Yan took their seat under Jia Xu’s guidance Lie Fan and Lu Lingqi bowed to heaven and earth, to Lie Fan’s parents, and to each other as the symbol of the ceremony.

After the ceremony was done, just like the past event Lu Lingqi was brought to the boudoir chamber prepared for their first night sleeping as husband and wife.

Lie Fan on the other hand receives toast after toast of wine from the guests, his advisors, and his generals where no one dares to challenge Lie Fan, as all have known about his absurd tolerance to alcohol.

Ti slowly passed by and the ti for Lie Fan to enter the boudoir chamber arrived, and like before everyone in the hall cheers to Lie Fan.

Lie Fan then enters the boudoir where Lu Lingqi had prepared the wedding wine that they will drink together, sothing that her mother had taught her alongside so other knowledge before her marriage.

After drinking their wedding wine, Lie Fan helped Lu Lingqi take off the red cloth that covered her face, and seeing Lu Lingqi’s flushing face combined with her makeup, Lie Fan couldn’t hold himself and kissed Cai Wenji hungrily.

Lu Lingqi who wanted to say sothing was blocked and while she was shy and her face was very red she followed Lie Fan’s movent and guidance, and Lie Fan slowly took off her clothes and undergarnts.

After Lu Lingqi’s clothes and undergarnts were taken off, Lie Fan carried Lu Lingqi to her surprise and brought her to the bed, laying her down gently.

Seeing the slender but muscled body of Lu Lingqi combined with Lu Lingqi’s feminine makeup, Lie Fan’s blood is boiling causing him to hurriedly take off his clothes, never expecting that muscles add so extra sexy points for him.

Lu Lingqi on the other hand, seeing the muscles on Lie Fan’s body first closed her eyes with her hand but after fighting her shyness she opened her hand to see Lie Fan’s muscled body, and saw the brave but shy Lu Lingqi Lie Fan pounced on Lu Lingqi.

Soon sound of gasps, moans, and grunts from Lu Lingqi could be heard in the boudoir, and the sounds were very sexy making Lie Fan who heard them even more fierce.

The cicadas, frogs, and crickets were embarrassed to hear the sounds causing them to increase the volu of their sound, even the moon in the sky hid itself behind the clouds.
