Because the investnt team Mavi had set up in the Asia-Pacific region was mainly responsible for projects like the Zi Wan Luxury Hos in Shanghai, the shopping mall in the Huaihai Road business district, and the dozens of courtyard hos Mavi had purchased in Beijing (which weren't very well-known in Beijing), their listed background was as a real estate developer.
