The police officers thought that the taxi driver was lying and trying to oppose the arrest.
"No... I really can't move right now. She did this to ." The taxi driver shouted.
Yu Qi forgot that she immobilized the taxi driver.
"Oh, I forgot." Yu Qi said.
She asked the police officer to move first. She would make the taxi driver regain his mobility again.
The police officers were curious about what Yu Qi was about to do. They looked at Yu Qi.
Yu Qi quickly tapped the taxi driver's acupoints. The taxi driver felt that he could move again. The police officers were surprised to see the scene. It was like a scene straight from a fighting movie.
Yu Qi stepped back giving space for the police officers to co forward. But the police officers were not moving.
The taxi driver thought it was his chance to run away. He wanted to jump into the driver's seat to make a run.
However, Yu Qi noticed and pulled the taxi driver's legs. The taxi driver shouted. With that, the police officers finally snapped to the reality. They imdiately pulled the taxi driver out.
The taxi driver successfully pulled out of the taxi. His hands had been handcuffed as soon as possible because they were afraid that he would make a run again.
"Sir, please... Please let go. I promise that I will never do sothing like this again. It is my first ti doing sothing like this." The taxi driver begged the police officers.
"Sir, please don't believe him. Here is the recording of him admitting he had already done this cri multiple tis." Yu Qi showed the police officers the recorder.
Yu Qi played the recording. It was clear that the taxi driver admitted his cri while talking to Yu Qi.
"No... It is not true. You accuse . You faked my voice." The taxi driver shouted.
"Mister, I am accusing you? For what? We did not know each other. I never t you before. So, for what reason that I am accusing you?" Yu Qi asked.
"That..." The taxi driver did not have any point to reply.
"Miss, can you give us the recorder as the evidence?" The police officer asked.
"Sure." Yu Qi asked.
"Miss, why do you have the recorder to begin with? I am just asking." Another police officer asked.
"I am using this for my business purpose. In fact, I am planning to use this recorder for my eting here with the client. I am going uptown to stay at one of the hotels over there. Then, I noticed that this taxi driver suddenly changed the road. Concerned for my safety, I clicked the button on the recorder to record the situation." Yu Qi explained.
"Oh... It is indeed not a road to go to uptown." The police officers nodded.
"Here is the recorder." Yu Qi gave the recorder to the police officers.
"Please, let go for once. I will not do it anymore. Please. I have wife and daughter." The taxi driver begged for forgiveness.
A female police officer replied. "If you rember your wife and daughter, you would never do sothing like this."
"I bet the won who beca your victims probably also begged you. But do you let them go?" Yu Qi asked.
The taxi driver went silent. Of course, not! The food was in front of him, why couldn't he not eat it?
The taxi driver was taken into the police's custody.
"Miss, let send you to your destination. It would be difficult to get another taxi here." The female police officer said.
This place was dark and not many cars drove this road. It would be a long ti and difficult if Yu Qi wanted to get another taxi here.
"Thank you." Yu Qi thanked the police officer.
"Hmm... May I request your presence tomorrow to make a statent regarding this matter?" The police officer asked.
"Hmm... Sure. Which ti do I need to be there?" Yu Qi asked. She then inford the police officer about her eting. "I have a eting at 10 a.m. So, I am hoping I can go there around 8 a.m.
"Sure. You can." The police officer already agreed with the ti.
"Okay. I will be there at 8 a.m." Yu Qi nodded.
After arriving at the uptown, Yu Qi checked into the hotel. She was kind of tired of dealing with the incident. She took a quick shower and threw herself onto the bed.
Then, a call ca through. Yu Qi already knew who the caller was through the ringtone that she set on her phone. She answered the call.
"Qi Qi..." A voice ca through the phone.
It was no one but Long Hui.
"Hmm..." Yu Qi responded.
"Have you safely arrived at your hotel?" Long Hui asked.
"Yeah. I did. Right now, I am on the bed." Yu Qi stated. "Where are you right now?"
"I am in my office. Writing so reports." Long Hui answered.
"Ahhh.... It would be great if you were here, with ." Yu Qi let out a sigh.
Long Hui went silent.
"Brother Hui? Brother Hui? Why do you beco silent?" Yu Qi called Long Hui several tis.
"Do you really want to tease like that?" Long Hui asked. His voice was kind of weird.
Yu Qi was startled. She imdiately sat down. "What? When did I do that?"
"I will wait for you to co back. I will punish you more." Long Hui said.
"What?" Yu Qi was panicked.
"I need to go and take a cold shower right now. I will call you again. Sweet dream Qi Qi." Long Hui ended the call.
Yu Qi thought she put a bucket on her head. She did not want to see him.
