The Farak Award Ceremony began. They had the performance opening. Coincidently, the singer was from Yu Qi's entertainnt company. Well, Yu Qi did not know much about that.
One by one awards had been presented. The best picture, best script writer, best cinematography, best costu design, best soundtrack, best makeup, best production design, best special effect, best newbie, best second lead, and so now. The only awards left were Best Director, Best Actor, and Best Actress. Yu Qi yawned while covering her mouth with her hands.
"Are you sleeping?" Long Hui whispered.
"Hmm... A little." Yu Qi nodded. It was her first ti coming to an entertainnt award ceremony. It was kind of boring for her even though there was so entertainnt being prepared. The dical conference or business conference would not be this boring. This would be the last ti she ca to this kind of award ceremony. "You can sleep a bit if you want." Long Hui stated.
"No... The Best Actress Award will be next soon. I could not miss it. That is why I am here." Yu Qi stated.
The best director award had been called. He was from Qiaosu Entertainnt. About 70% of the awards were won by Qiaosu Entertainnt. Yu Qi smiled when she heard this. The next award was the best actor. An actor was Qiaosu Entertainnt also had been nominated. However, he was ashad that he would not win the award. The winner was from another company. Then, the waited award which was the best actress. The screen showed the actresses who had been nominated for the award. Song Su Jin played a role in the ancient Chinese fantasy drama. She was a nine-tailed fox in the drama.
"You look so cute in the costu." Su Yu Hi whispered into Song Su Jin's ear.
The praise made Song Su Jin feel shy. She glared at Su Yu Hi who had teased her. Then, they announced the winner. It was Song Su Jin. Song Su Jin was stunned. Her eyes were opened wide. "Su Jin, go and take the award." Su Yu Hi said to Song Su Jin.
Only then, Song Su Jin snapped back to reality. She won the Best Actress Award. She slowly rose and walked up to the stage. The presenter presented the award to Song Su Jin while congratulating her.
"Congratulations, Miss Song." The presenter said.
"Thank you." Song Su Jin bowed.
She was given an opportunity to express her gratitude. She stood in front of the microphone and looked at the audience. "First of all, thank you for this award. It is an honor for to receive this award. I would like to stand for the person who believed when I was down in the past. That was my current big boss, Miss Tang Yu Qi, and my fiance, Mr Su Yu Hi. They selected as the spokesperson for their Skincare Brand despite having such a scandal at that ti. Thank you, Miss Tang, and Yu Hi. Also, thank to my manager who stood by my side the whole ti. Thank you to the director and others who always give advice to act better. Next, thank you to my fans. Without your support, I might not be here. Thank you, everyone... Thank you." Song Su Jin said.
She finished it with a deep bow expressing her gratitude to everyone. The hall filled with the claps from everyone. Tan Xiumi faked her clap. She was so jealous right now. This way, Song Su Jin beca an A-rank actress. She was only a C-rank actress. Because everyone focused on the stage, they did not see Tan Xiumi's expression. It was the end of the award ceremony. Next was the after-party. Only the invited ones could attend. That included Yu Qi and Long Hui. The venue for the after-party was not far. It was also inside the Art of Palace. Only in a different hall. They walked to the hall. Yu Qi saw Song Su Jin and Su Yu Hi. She pulled Long Hui and walked toward them.
"Best actress Song, congratulations." Yu Qi said.
Song Su Jin laughed. "Thank you." Song Su Jin and Su Yu Hi were together with a middle-aged man. The middle-aged man saw Yu Qi and felt she had the potential to beco famous in the future. "Is this your junior, Miss Song? I would like to extend the invitation for my next upcoming movie to this girl." The middle-aged man spoke.
Song Su Jin was stunned for a mont before answering the middle-aged man.
"Director Hong, you misunderstand. This is not my junior. This is Chairman Tang, the owner of Qiaosu Entertainnt, my big boss." Song Su Jin explained the true identity of Yu Qi. "What?" The middle-aged man did not expect this.
He used to et Lang Sun, the person in charge of Qiaosu Entertainnt. He forgot that there was another person behind Lang Sun. And that person was standing in front of him right now.
"Chairman Tang, I am sorry for mistaking you for a newbie in this industry." The middle-aged man said.
"That's fine." Yu Qi waved her hands.
"This is Director Hong. He will be the director of my next project." Song Su Jin introduced Director Hong to Yu Qi. "I see." Yu Qi nodded.
Then, so people ca over to congratulate Song Su Jin for her success. Yu Qi and Long Hui stepped back allowing the people to do so.
