Hearing the tone from her mother, Quan Hou Chi knew that Bai Gu Wen had still not changed at all. Her mother still thought that she was high and mighty.
"What is it?" Quan Hou Chi did not care anymore about her mother.
"What's with that attitude? Is this how you greet your mother whom you haven't seen for years?" Bai Gu Wen said.
"What do you want from the daughter you haven't seen for years?" Quan Hou Chi asked.
"Is this how your father taught you?" Bai Gu Wen shouted.
"Hey, don't include my father in this situation. The way I treat you has nothing to do with my father." Quan Hou Chi defended her father.
"Of course, it has everything to do with your father. He taught you everything including how to treat your mother." Bai Gu Wen argued.
"I treat you with this because I think it fits the situation." Quan Hou Chi stated."
"You!!!" Bai Gu Wen was angry.
"If you have sothing to say and say it. Please, I have work to do and don't have ti for this. If you just want to waste my ti like this, I will hang up this call." Quan Hou Chi said.
"Wait! Don't hang up yet." Bai Gu Wen shouted.
"Then, talk." Quan Hou Chi said.
"I heard that you got a job at Qinyue Group." Bai Gu Wen said.
"It is not a job but an internship." Quan Hou Chi was being honest.
"Well... It is the sa. That ans you work at Qinyue Group. What is your position? Which departnt that you are at?" Bai Gu Wen asked.
"Why do you need to know about that?" Quan Hou Chi narrowed her eyes. "I am just asking. Why? You can't tell about that either?" Bai Gu Wen uttered.
"I am an intern in the HR departnt." Quan Hou Chi said. "Oh... I see... See... It is easy to tell ." Bai Gu Wen laughed.
"Hmm... Is there anything else you want to know?" Quan Hou Chi asked.
"Nothing for now. I miss you. We should hang out together sotis. What do you say?" Bai Gu Wen asked.
"No. There's no need for that. I am busy anyway. I am not like you." Quan Hou Chi said.
"You!!!" Bai Gu Wen wanted to say more but she held back.
Bai Gu Wen was not working once in her life. She just received money from the Bai Family each month. Not to ntion, she already had so share in Bai Cooperation. She just waited for the money to be deposited into her bank account. "I am hanging up." Quan Hou Chi hung up without hearing an answer from her mother.
Bai Gu Wen was angry but she tried to calm up. There was a reason why she called her daughter. It was because her brother heard about sothing and asked her to confirm it with her daughter. She imdiately called her brother and told him about this. "So, she does work at Qinyue Group." Bai Xia Fang laughed.
He wanted to investigate Qinyue Group. He wanted to know about its internal personnel. He wanted to see which talented personnel he could snatch from Qinyue Group. Since Bai Gu Wen's daughter was really working at Qinyue Group, and she was also working at the HR departnt, it would be easy to get information about the personnel.
However, what Bai Xia Fang did not know was that Quan Hou Chi had no plan to help him or Bai Gu Wen. She did not have any feelings toward Bai Family who kept looking down at her and her father. So, Bai Xia Fang's plan was dood from the start.
Quan Hou Chi felt that Bai Gu Wen had planned sothing for her. However, she did not know about that. She thought it was better for her to call her father and tell him about this matter.
"She called you out of the blue?" Quan De Bei asked in surprise.
"Yeah, she called earlier." Quan Hou Chi stated.
"What did she ask you about?" Quan De Bei asked.
"She asked whether it was true that I was working at Qinyue Group. I told her that I was just an intern here. Oh... She also asked which departnt I worked at." Quan Hou Chi answered.
Quan De Bei was silent. He was thinking about the outco that Bai Gu Wen could get from those questions. Then, he rembered sothing. "Hou Chi, it is probably your Uncle's order." Quan De Bei stated.
"What do you an by that, Dad? How is this related to him?" Quan Hou Chi frowned. "He probably wants you to be his spy in Qinyue Group." Quan De Bei said.
As a person who knew Bai Xia Fang for a few years, he knew that Bai Xia Fang's business was not that clean. He used every asure that could help his company stand up among others. Seeing the Qinyue Group rose, Bai Xia Fang probably disliked to see that coming. He also did sothing to Qinyue Group but it did not go as he planned. "What?" Quan Hou Chi was shocked to hear her father's opinion. "Yes. It is probably his plan." Quan De Bei was sure about that after thinking about it for a while. "There is no way that I am going to be his spy." Quan Hou Chi rejected the idea.
