The line was dead. Cheng Bolin ended the call. The silence in the office was deafening. Even the distant sound of the villagers cheering outside seed to fade as Manager Kang realised his "backup" was actually his curtain call.
Yu Qi and Long Hui watched Manager Kang realize that there was no one would co and save him at the mont.
