The waiter looked at Yu Qi and the others. He was about to ask Yu Qi sothing when soone suddenly called out to the woman.
"Xinxin, what are you doing here? Why aren’t you going to the table?" The man asked.
"Dad, I blocked a group of beggars. They are trying to dine and dash here." The woman said repeatedly, sounding rather proud of herself.
The man looked over at the group and almost stumbled backwards in shock. It seed he had recognised one of them.
"Chairwoman Tang? Colonel Long?" The man called out in surprise.
The woman’s expression froze when she heard her father’s words.
"You are Chairwoman Tang and Colonel Long, right?" The man called out again, wanting to confirm.
Everyone around them also fell silent after hearing how the man addressed them.
The woman nad Xinxin blinked several tis in confusion.
"Dad... What are you talking about?" The woman asked while frowning.
However, her father did not answer her right away. He ignored her question completely. Instead, he quickly walked toward Yu Qi and Long Hui with a nervous and uneasy expression.
" I apologise, I truly apologise, Chairwoman Tang, Colonel Long." The man bowed slightly as he spoke.
The waiter who had been standing nearby was stunned. He did not expect the situation to turn out like this.
Yu Qi looked at the man calmly.
"You know us?" Yu Qi asked.
"Of course! Of course! I often saw the news about your business, and I also saw you once at the business banquet a few months ago." The man explained hurriedly.
The man’s forehead was already covered with sweat.

Yu Qi glanced at him. Then she looked at the woman again.
"You called them beggars earlier." Yu Qi stated.
The woman felt uncomfortable when she heard the sentence.
"They are my guests. I invited them here, and I paid for their al. So they have every right to be here," Yu Qi said.
Lu Chong and the others were stunned when they heard Yu Qi say that.
The woman lowered her head slightly, her face turning red from embarrassnt.

Long Hui, who had been silent the entire ti, suddenly spoke.
"If you don’t know sothing, you should learn to keep your mouth shut." Long Hui said coldly.
His gaze swept across the woman, making her shiver. She instinctively stepped back. Her father quickly nodded and agreed with Long Hui.
"Yes, yes. Colonel Long is absolutely right." The man chid in.
"So, can we enter the restaurant now?" Yu Qi said.
"Yes... Yes..." The man nodded.
He quickly pulled his daughter aside, giving way to Yu Qi and Long Hui.
Yu Qi turned to the waiter.
"I booked a private room under the surna, Long." Yu Qi stated.
The waiter imdiately pulled out his tablet and checked the reservation list. After looking through the list, he quickly found the na.
"Yes, I have your reservation. You booked a private room," the waiter nodded respectfully. "Please allow to lead you to your room."
"Thank you." Yu Qi smiled politely.
Yu Qi had booked the private room for them so that they could eat peacefully without everyone staring at them. She then turned to Lu Chong and the others.
"Let’s go." Yu Qi said.
Lu Chong and the others quickly followed behind Yu Qi. As they walked past the woman earlier, she did not even dare to raise her head.
anwhile, several people in the restaurant were already whispering among themselves.
"That woman really kicked an iron plate today."
"Calling Chairwoman Tang’s guests beggars... she really has guts."
"She was really arrogant before. Do you know her or her father?"
