After finalising their plan, Yu Qi walked back toward her own room. She forced herself to stop thinking about Ji Gu Niang’s matter for the ti being, knowing she needed to clear her mind. Because of that sudden interruption, Yu Qi could not help but feel slightly unsettled, a faint sense of anxiety lingering in her chest. She decided right then that she would definitely contact Master Lou later and personally ask for more details about the matter.

After finishing her long shift, Yu Qi walked out of the hospital, fully intending to return directly to the Tang Family Residence. However, the mont she stepped into the dimly lit parking lot, she stopped in her tracks, surprised to see a familiar figure waiting there quietly in the shadows.
"Brother Hui?" Yu Qi mumbled softly under her breath.
Her heart skipped a beat. Even though the lighting was poor and she could not clearly see the person’s face yet, she recognised his posture and silhouette almost instantly. Her heartbeat quickened with sudden excitent as she hurried toward him without a single shred of hesitation.
Long Hui happened to turn around at that exact mont and imdiately caught his beloved Qi Qi as she rushed straight into his arms. The girl hugged him tightly, burying her face in his chest and openly expressing just how much she had missed him during their painful ti apart.
"Brother Hui, you are back. I missed you so much." Yu Qi said, her voice thick with emotion, while she continued to cling tightly to him.
"Hmm... I missed you very much, too, my dear." Long Hui replied softly, wrapping his strong arms around her waist. Then, after noticing the curious gazes of a few passing colleagues, he added helplessly with a low chuckle, "Qi Qi, everyone is watching us. Should we leave this place first and continue our reunion sowhere more private?"
Only then did Yu Qi suddenly realize that they were still standing right in the middle of the busy hospital parking lot. Because she had missed Long Hui so terribly, she had completely lost her usual composure the very mont she caught sight of him.
"I-I’m sorry." Yu Qi said awkwardly, her cheeks flushing as she imdiately released her grip on him. "Let’s go ho first."
Yu Qi quickly unlocked her car door and climbed into the driver’s seat to hide her embarrassnt. Long Hui followed suit, slipping smoothly into the passenger seat beside her. Soon afterwards, they pulled out and left the hospital parking lot together.
"Did you just finish your mission?" Yu Qi asked, keeping her eyes on the road but stealing occasional glances at him.
"I returned to Capital City yesterday. After reporting everything to my superior, I imdiately ca back to your side." Long Hui reported honestly, leaving no detail out because he knew how much she worried.
"I see." Yu Qi nodded, a warm feeling spreading through her. Then, she suddenly rembered sothing important. "I should inform my family that I won’t be going back to the residence tonight since you’re already here."
"Hmm..." Long Hui responded quietly while his gaze was heavy with intent.
Yu Qi took out her phone at a red light and quickly sent a ssage to Ming Yue regarding her change of plans. Not long afterwards, she received a supportive reply from Ming Yue, telling her to bring Long Hui over for a proper visit later when they both had so free ti.
Before long, they finally arrived back at their ho. The mont they stepped across the threshold and closed the door behind them, the restraint they had maintained in public vanished.
Long Hui imdiately pulled Yu Qi tightly into his embrace and kissed her deeply, pouring all his pent-up longing into it, as though trying to make up for every single second they had spent separated from each other.
Yu Qi was naturally unwilling to lose to Long Hui’s intensity. She responded passionately to his kiss, parting her lips while wrapping her arms tightly around his neck to pull him even closer.
Long Hui only released her lips after noticing that she was nearly out of breath. As they parted, a faint, silver line of saliva stretched briefly between them before finally breaking.
"Qi Qi... I missed you so much." Long Hui murmured against her skin.
His breath was hot as he gazed deeply into Yu Qi’s dark eyes.
"Hmm... too. I am so happy that you are finally ho... finally back by my side." Yu Qi replied softly.
Long Hui then bent down and effortlessly lifted Yu Qi into a princess carry, walking with steady steps toward the bedroom. He gently placed her onto the soft mattress before slowly straightening up. Without once breaking eye contact with Yu Qi, he began taking off his clothes, letting each piece drop to the floor one at a ti.
Yu Qi naturally understood exactly what Long Hui wanted, and truth be told, she felt precisely the sa aching need. She watched him undress. Her eyes gradually was filling with unconcealed admiration and hunger for his touch.
