After Jack's almost cheat-like thods of enhancing his physical abilities, by the fourth month, Reid had stumbled through the combat training and achieved a moderate score on the physical fitness test, much to the surprise of the FBI Academy instructors.

After that, Jack devoted a significant amount of ti to teaching him shooting skills.

Daily repetitive practice of exercises and martial arts routines greatly improved Reid's coordination. He wasn't particularly bad at this; he wasn't the kind of "genius" who would trip over his own feet while walking.

However, the long-term lack of exercise and conditioned reflexes made him appear sowhat clumsy and lacking in confidence in front of others, always giving the impression of being awkward.

Compared to three months ago, Reid now, in Rossi's words, seed to have had his head and lower body replaced. Not only was he much stronger, but his deanor had also changed considerably.

And to be fair, after the little weakling had beco a normal-sized man, his baby face was quite cute; Jack felt it would likely evoke the protective instincts of many older won.

If an FBI trainee would need to use up a thousand rounds of ammunition in five months for shooting training, Jack planned to have Reid use at least three tis that amount in the remaining two months.

"First, focus your gaze on the front sight, not the target. The principle of the three points in a straight line is self-explanatory; you understand the focusing principle of the human eye better than I do, Dr. Reid."

Jack stood behind Reid, patiently explaining the shooting techniques.

"Second, unconsciously pull the trigger. This is a pistol; you don't need to shoot at a target a kiloter away. Once you have your gun in position, you can pull the trigger at any ti."

"Third, follow up. After firing a bullet, don't worry about whether you hit it or not. Develop the habit of re-aiming the gun at the target, or you'll get yourself killed."

One box of ammunition a day, only given food after it was all fired. As Reid diligently loaded each bullet onto the target, Jack helped him reload.

A week later, Reid finally overca his fear of shooting. Although his skill wasn't outstanding, he was finally able to shoot at the 15-ter head target and the 20-ter chest target without missing.

"I think I'll definitely reach a shooting level similar to yours before I leave the academy," Reid boasted, looking at his score in the second week.

"Are you sure?" Jack turned to look at him, pulled out his training Glock 19 from its holster, and emptied the magazine without turning back, aiming at the chest target 20 ters away.

As the motor whirred, the target paper was automatically delivered to the shooting position. Jack slapped the target paper, now completely ripped apart at the bullseye, in front of Reid.

"Keep it up. Aim for one more box of bullets than you've practiced every day. If your wrist hurts, co find ; I have so dicine with ."

He was joking, of course. He'd used all 10 system coins he'd painstakingly saved after the counterfeit money case to upgrade his master-level pistol skill. Could a newbie who'd only been handling guns for less than a month really challenge him so easily?

Jack admitted that even with a cheat code, he wasn't as brilliant as this genius, but in other aspects, he, Jack, was second to none.

In the past, FBI agents were reassigned every two or three years after being assigned to a location, leading to considerable discontent among junior agents.

This ant that every few years they had to relocate or face long periods of separation from their families, a significant burden for agents with families.

In recent years, as so FBI policies have beco more humane, this situation has decreased considerably, but for new agents, 'Volunteer Night' still determines where their career begins.

It could be bustling New York, sunny Miami, or the freezing Anchorage.

After nearly five months of training, one day, each trainee who hadn't been eliminated was required to fill out a 'Volunteer List' before the evening, listing the field office they most wanted to work for.

That evening, each trainee would open an envelope in front of the whole class and loudly announce the region they would be assigned to.

So would find that they had gotten what they wanted, while others would find that the assigned region was far from what they had hoped for.

Regardless, each person who stood on stage and announced their assigned location was greeted with a round of applause; those assigned to major cities were even t with loud cheers.

Jack and Reid missed out on this surprise, as Rossi had already inford them of their location: the BAU would be setting up a branch in Los Angeles, deploying a newly ford operations team.

Of course, this wasn't anything to regret; Jack didn't have to move, and as a PhD from Caltech, Reid was happy to remain in familiar territory.

"Las Vegas!" When the blonde bombshell, Jane Banner, loudly proclaid the na on stage, she couldn't help but laugh; it seed the glitz and glamour of the gambling city suited her perfectly.

The other trainees whistled and clapped in her honor.

Jack and Reid were now quite familiar with her, and when her gaze fell upon them, they both clapped enthusiastically.

"I think you could try asking her out soti; Los Angeles isn't far from Vegas anyway, maybe it can help you overco your childhood trauma," Jack teased Reid beside him.

"I'm banned from all casinos in Las Vegas, so it's unlikely I'll be going there," Reid said, sounding quite proud.

"Is this the treatnt of a super mathematician?" Jack had heard that those good at math had the ability to calculate winning probabilities, and all the gas in casinos were related to probability.

"It's a sha, I thought she was your type."

"I'm looking for a partner who matches intellectually and spiritually," Reid said earnestly.

Jack looked at him incredulously. "You should know that with your IQ, there are probably fewer than ten thousand people in the world who can match you, right?"

Reid nodded seriously again.

"Good luck." Jack sincerely wished him well.

With the end of 'Volunteer Night,' the trainees only had a few days left.

Finally, the last day arrived. The two changed into formal attire, attended the graduation ceremony, received their diplomas and a gleaming badge, and Reid successfully beca an FBI agent, eting everyone else by the sa standards.

After the ceremony, they went to the armory, where each received a Glock 22 officially issued by the FBI, and finally t Rossi, who had been waiting for them.

As Rossi arranged, Jack has a month to handle personal matters or take a proper vacation.
