Less than half an hour later, the BAU mbers arrived. The ambulance had just taken Angela Miller away, and everyone was shocked to see JJ with bandages on her face.
Emily, being a woman herself, knew all too well how important appearance was to a woman, but despite her attempts to persuade her, JJ refused to go to the hospital first.
"I'm the only one who has seen the killer's face." was her reason.
Jack didn't try to persuade her; removing scars was a trivial matter for him.
"At least treat the wound first. Don't worry, I know the best plastic surgeon in Hollywood. I'll introduce you to him when we get back. JJ, you're the liaison officer representing our team's public image." Rossi agreed, also agreeing to let JJ get dical attention first.
Hotchner hung up the phone, his face stern and unyielding. "This is an order. There's a good plastic surgery clinic in town. The sheriff will send an officer to take you there, along with a sketch artist. It won't take too long."
Even Reid looked concerned. "We found so videotapes at Francis's old residence. We expect to find more clues here. Whoever his accomplices are, we'll definitely catch him."
[A/n: So, is this really happening, I an, there is a case going on but all of them want her to have a plastic surgery first. Man, is it just or are these guys acting like so freaking Ching chong?]
Seeing everyone's insistence, JJ reluctantly followed an officer into the car.
The middle-aged white officer in the cowboy hat that Jack had seen outside the grocery store was the sheriff of this area. He and the BAU mbers arrived almost simultaneously.
Upon seeing Jack, the sheriff proactively shook his hand. "I've already sent the Millers to the hospital. Thank you and Agent JJ for your efforts in saving this family."
He then turned to Hotchner and said, "I've ordered roadblocks to be set up within a 40-mile radius, but there are too many side streets nearby; locals can easily bypass them."
"Sheriff, we need to find a way to get into the house." Hotchner's gaze fell on the large wooden cabin on the farm.
"I've already urged them; you can only enter after the bomb disposal team has finished their inspection. However, the surrounding smaller houses should be fine; you can search them first."
Perhaps because the FBI's arrival had indeed been effective, the sheriff's attitude was exceptionally cooperative.
"We need to find as much information as possible to help with psychological profiling." Hotchner naturally took over the command.
Including the sheriff, everyone split up to work.
Jack and Rossi opened the door to the tool shed together.
"It's well-organized; all the tools are on the shelves, and it's been cleaned as thoroughly as possible."
Rossi wiped her finger on the worn table; there wasn't much dust on it.
"Obsessive-compulsive disorder or germaphobia?"
Jack noticed a tal cabinet with a combination lock was half-open. He went over and pulled it open, finding it to be a typical gun cabinet.
The left side was divided into several shelves, with scattered gun maintenance tools and several boxes of ammunition of different calibers, all already opened with only a few rounds remaining. The right side was a gun rack, but it was completely empty.
"Oh" Rossi let out a vague exclamation.
Not long after, the group reunited in front of the cabin. Two bomb disposal experts dressed like astronauts were removing their heavy equipnt.
"The gun rack is empty. That guy brought all the guns," Rossi shouted.
Jack showed off the bullets he'd found in the gun cabinet. "7.62x51mm rounds, that should be the rifle that almost hit JJ. There are also buckshot casings here, so that guy must have at least one shotgun."
Hotchner was inspecting the wrecked garage. "I found two pairs of n's shoes in different sizes."
"The dispatch reported no suspicious vehicles. I suspect he's been listening to the police radio." The sheriff hung up the phone, looking annoyed.
"We'll switch the channel to the State Geological Survey band; nobody's listening to that."
"Hey, guys, co here." Emily, who had been wandering around the flowerbeds, called out to the group who were about to enter the cabin to search.
"There were three victims before Angela Miller, right?" Emily pointed to the rose bushes in the flowerbed.
"There are three patches of roses here, each at a different height and in different conditions. This patch is the newest; it even has a tag on it."
"Corresponding to the three victims?" Hotchner nodded.
Reid squatted down beside a rose bush, examined it carefully, and then reached out and pulled it up. Several grayish-black beetles crawled out of the turned-up soil.
Everyone present imdiately looked grim. "Burying beetles."
"Sheriff, I think we need so shovels." Hotchner's face turned extrely dark.
As the sheriff directed his n to begin digging, Garcia's phone rang.
Previously, Rossi and Reid had found so old ho videotapes at the killer Francis's forr residence. Garcia had already worked with local technicians to organize them all, digitize them, and send them over.
There wasn't much valuable content on them, but Garcia thoughtfully labeled them according to their importance.
Rossi opened the first video file and played it for everyone to see.
The image was shaky and blurry; Francis Goring sat in a large chair by the window, looking down at the cara and saying sothing incomprehensible.
"He deliberately used a low angle to make himself seem superior; that chair is like his throne. It's funny."
Reid's words were cut short by Emily's shushing.

Jack was confused. Martin Luther was the founder of Protestantism; this guy must be talking about Luther Martin, one of the Founding Fathers of the United States, who spearheaded the Bill of Rights, the first ten andnts to the Constitution.
These constitutional andnts include clauses that so people tout, such as freedom of assembly, freedom to carry arms, and double jeopardy, but none of this has anything to do with what this guy is talking about.
"It should be Luther Martin. He supported slavery and believed that owning slaves was his right as an Arican. He also opposed the federal governnt's dominance over the states."
Dr. Reid, the walking encyclopedia, noticed Jack's confusion and quietly explained it to him.
"How many of these videotapes did you find? Eleven? Poor Garcia, who's cleaning up all this junk." Emily said, feeling uncomfortable.
Rossi mimicked her earlier gesture and shushed her, causing Emily to roll her eyes.
In the video, Francis was still talking animatedly, his expression excited and his tone impassioned.
[First, I will establish an organization, a kingdom.]
[Second, I will build an army to defend this kingdom.]

Rossi opened the other video files one by one; the content was largely the sa, filled with the ramblings of a ntally ill person.
Jack recalled certain historical figures; this Francis Goring seed to have so similarities.
"Let's go, let's see this 'king's' castle."
Rossi sighed, closed the tablet, and led everyone into the wooden house.
