Everyone turned in the direction where the voice ca from.
Ella calmly strode forward, her gaze montarily paused on Ruby’s swollen face.
And her eyes slowly turned frosty as she turned to Mr. Ambrose.
Ella motioned towards the guards to release the n, "It was . I got Ruby to prepare for the audition. Mr. Ambrose, since you seem very unhappy about it, why don’t you talk to ?"
Ruby turned to Ella, her brows tugging together.
But Ella did not even look at her for once. If she looked Ruby in the eye right now, she wasn’t sure she could stop herself from ordering the man’s teeth knocked out.
Seconds trickled by while Mr. Ambrose remained silent.
The tension cackled in the air, making it difficult for one to breath.
But Ella stood there, unbothered as if she was out for a stroll in the garden.

When Ella turned to the side, Ruby firmly gripped her mother’s hand, her gaze unwavering.

"You..." Mr. Ambrose had barely uttered a word when one of the guards pressed his jaws close.
Outside the Ambrose Mansion, Ji Yan was pacing in front of his car while constantly checking his watch.
Just as he turned to enter the Ambrose Mansion, he spotted Ella walking out.
He let out a sigh of relief, "Miss Yu, is everything dealt with?" He asked the mont Ella reached near the car.
Ella paused and glanced at him, "Hmm? What could be the problem?"
Ji Yan patted his chest inwardly.
Given Mr. Ambrose’s past records and rumors of his violence, Ji Yan was concerned and wanted to accompany Ella.
But she firmly denied it, saying that it would be detrintal if the man recognized him as Adrian’s secretary.
Thinking that it was unwise to compromise his Second Master’s privacy, Ji Yan had agreed to it.
But when Ella’s return kept getting delayed, he had started to have second thoughts.
"Miss Yu, shall we head back to Eve Mansion now?" As he spoke, Ji Yan had already opened the car door for Ella.
But Ella did not budge from her spot. Instead, she kept looking at the main gates of the Ambrose Manor.
Ji Yan opened his mouth to speak but at this mont, his eyes suddenly widened.
Walking out of the Ambrose Mansion were Ruby and Mrs. Ambrose.
Moreover, the fearso guards that had initially accompanied Ella to protect her were helping the two ladies in carrying their suitcases.

"They are coming with ," Ella smiled.
Ji Yan opened his mouth and then closed it, "Did Mr. Ambrose agree?"

Ronan was the only one tending to Adrian at this mont and Ji Yan could not afford to dally here.
At the thought of it, he started moving back quietly. Even the servants who were passing by did not notice his movents.

Ji Yan was stunned. But seeing the golden opportunity, he did not waste ti before he slipped out.
Ella’s eyes darkened.
"Ella... thank you for today," Ruby lowered her gaze, "If not for you..."

"You don’t seem to be feeling well. Why don’t we go out on a long drive to enjoy ourselves today?"
Ruby opened her mouth to speak.
But before she could utter a word, Bertha stepped forward, "Miss Yu, are you heading out now? Shall I make the arrangents?"
"Get us a good sports car."

The mont they got inside the car and the doors shut with a soft thud, Ruby looked at Ella from the driver’s seat.
"We are not going on a long drive, are we?" There was sothing amiss about the way Ella had just behaved inside.
It was as if she could not frankly talk to her about it in front of those servants. And getting the clue, Ruby also played along.
Ella inhaled a deep breath, "Ruby, I need your help..."
Ruby glanced at her quietly, "Tell what you need to do?"
"I want to chase soone’s car," Ella said after a mont of silence.
Ruby blinked. "Chase who?"
"The man who just left."
There was a pause.
Ruby stared at Ella for a second, but then she wordlessly turned the engine on.
