Two huge suitcases were neatly lined up by the wall.
The mont Esther stepped inside the room, Violet walked past her.
"Violet, you didn’t tell you were going sowhere..."
"I am moving out."
"Moving out?" Esther’s eyes widened, "You are moving out of the room?"
Violet ignored her as she pushed both the suitcases out of the room.
"Wait," Esther grabbed her hand, "Why would you move out suddenly? You are not going anywhere...!"
Violet swung her hand away as she turned to look at her, a bitter smile curving on her face, "It’s not up to you to decide."
Esther froze and then suddenly tears rolled down her eyes, "Oh... Oh... So, you are going to turn your back against like Mo Lia too?"
"Or have you decided to kick while I am down and out?" Esther took a step back, "I saw you talking to Ella that day... Did you decide at that ti...? Have you two been scheming against since then?"
Violet frowned, "Looking at you now, I suddenly realized that you have been doing this all this ti. No matter what goes wrong with your life, you bla it on your sister..."
Violet paused for a mont as she shook her head, "And I feel pathetic that I once believed your words and misunderstood her."
"Hahaha..." Esther slamd a hand across her mouth as she laughed, "Are you still pretending? You told that you will audition for the role of the female lead but when the ti ca, you snatched my role. You even conspired with that bitch against ...!"
’Pak’
Esther’s face slamd to the side by the impact of the slap.
She trembled as she slowly raised her head, "You... slapped ?"
Violet stiffened for a mont as she glanced at her hand.
"You actually... slapped . You bitch!"
"Don’t force to do it again," Violet stepped away from Esther, "I trusted you. It was you who wanted to ruin my face."
Esther’s eyes widened. How.. How could Violet know about it?
’I was so careful when I gave her that skincare, and it was made such that it would slowly destroy her face. She should never have doubted . But now... now... how does she know?’
"If not for you, I would have auditioned for the role of the female lead. It was you who betrayed first... so don’t act like it’s my fault!"
Violet turned around and walked away.
"You bitch, did you forget who paid for your father’s treatnt?!"
Violet’s footsteps halted as tears welled up in her eyes, "I will pay you back every penny, in the future..." She said softly before she turned around and walked away.
Esther’s chest heaved as she clenched her fists.
Only one person... has been ruining all her plans while acting clueless about it.
And this ti, Esther was no longer in the dark.
’Crash’
With a swipe of her hand, Esther chucked everything on the desk onto the floor.
"Ella... It must be you again, isn’t it?!"
...
"It’s you?" Ella arched a brow when she saw Mo Jun standing in the empty hallway.
In fact, she had expected it to be him.
Not many knew that Mo Jun was actually Dean Mo’s son.
But because of his association with gangs, Mo Jun was quite dreaded by the people who knew about him.
Mo Jun looked at Ella for a few minutes but did not speak imdiately.
His eyes lingered on her short hair for a mont before he looked at her face, "How are you now?"
Ella crossed her arms in front of her chest, not sparing him a word.
Mo Jun inhaled a deep breath, ’’I am here to say sorry."
Ella looked at the man. He had dark circles under his eyes, the rims of his eyes were red, there were creases in his clothes and his hair seed like it had not been combed in days.
When Ella had heard that Mo Jun broke up with Esther, she did not take it seriously.
Even in her previous life, Mo Jun was fixated on Esther to a point that it seed unusual.
As long as she lied to him, manipulated him, he would be manipulated. He would trust her with closed eyes.
But now... Much to Ella’s surprise, it seed like Mo Jun would rather suffer than take Esther back this ti.
"That day..." Clueless about Ella’s thoughts, Mo Jun smiled bitterly, "I misunderstood you. You refused to acknowledge but you tried to warn about many things indirectly and I am grateful for it..."
"You saved once before too. Yet, that day, I did not trust you and..."
"I don’t need your trust, Mo Jun," Ella cut him off, "Like I said, we are not familiar with each other. I saved you the first ti because I didn’t recognize you."
"And the reason I warned you about Esther’s affair was also due to my own selfish reasons. By now, you should know how much I hate her."
"Ella, I..."
’Ring’
Mo Jun’s phone buzzed just as he was about to speak.
He pulled out his phone from his pocket. The mont he glanced at the caller ID, his eyes narrowed, "Just give one minute..." he looked at her sincerely.
Ella nodded.
"Hello, yes doctor..." Mo Jun walked off to a little distance where Ella could no longer hear him.
Why was he talking to a doctor? Ella fell into her thoughts.
At this mont, a hint of white caught her attention.
Ella halted in her tracks and glanced at the floor.
A handkerchief?
When she picked it up, she was montarily stunned. The white handkerchief had violet flowers embroidered in one corner.
Just as she was about to examine it closely, the handkerchief disappeared.
Ella glanced at Mo Jun who folded it with gentle movents before carefully tucking it in his pockets.
When she returned to the class, Ella rummaged through her bag and took out a handkerchief that was identical to the one Mo Jun had.
Except, this one belonged to Violet.
