Ella’s eyes widened.
Before she could recover from his words, he leaned in and captured her lips.
Adrian kissed her like a man starved, lips crashing into hers with a hunger that made her gasp.
Ella clung to him, her fingers tangled in his hair. Her breath hitched, her body lting into his touch as he slid his tongue past her parted lips.
His slender fingers slid down her body, tugging off the satin nightgown till it was almost peeled off her body.
His hands road over her waist, her thighs, dragging her closer with a groan.

The way he said it, raspy, soft yet domineering... It did sothing to her.
Before she realized, her hands moved down to unbutton his shirt.
Adrian captured her wrist and t her gaze, with a question in his eyes.
He did not say it out loud but she could hear it word by word. What he wanted to ask.
Ella gulped, reaching her other hand towards his face. With gentle fingers, she stroked his cheekbones.
"I want you too," she whispered, her voice trembling with need. "So much..."
A fire burned in Adrian’s eyes as he looked at her.
For a mont, only silence burned in between them.
None of them broke the eye contact, as if testing the other person’s resolve.
