Ella instantly got up to walk out of the classroom to call Adrian.
But the mont she had taken a step away from her seat, Jenny entered the class.
Her gaze briefly paused on Ella before she addressed the rest of the class.
Ella frowned but took a seat again.
It seed like it would be possible for her to call Adrian after classes only.
In the anti, she only hoped that the big devil wouldn’t build an ice castle around him.
’’Class, today I will be...’’
Jenny’s words were interrupted when Kade stepped inside the classroom, his handso face covered in a shade of gloom.
The girls also inhaled a deep breath consecutively.
Ella rolled her eyes. A guy entering the class made the bunch of them breathless at the sa ti?
They really take oxygen for granted, huh!
Still, out of curiosity, she looked towards the girl who had tried to splash paint on her.
Jasmine. In her past life, Kade got married to Jasmine.
Ella was completely disinterested in the affairs and mbers of the King family so she hadn’t paid them much attention.
The reason why Ella couldn’t recognize Jasmine earlier was because right now, the girl retained her youthful features and delicateness. Even though she seed conceited, she still had a lively energy around her.
Back then, when she had t Jasmine for the first ti, the girl barely smiled. She was arrogant and aloof, and excessively cold. Her now delicate features were gone and she looked old beyond her years.
Since Ella never missed a chance to gather information that could harm Adrian, she had tried to eavesdrop here and there and figured out that Kade and Jasmine had an unhappy marriage, they did not love each other and slept on separate beds.
The only reason they had married was to form an alliance of both their families as Jasmine had a prominent family background as well with her father being a loyal director of the King Empires.
And this alliance was ant to uproot Adrian from his position.
A shadow blocked Ella’s vision, ’’The new day has barely started but you have already begun your business of ogling at girls like a pervert!" A snarky whisper sounded.
Ella looked away from Jasmine, putting her thoughts aside and glanced at Kade, ’’I still have a long way to go when compared to you!"
Ella smiled. Kade glared.
Thunder sizzled in their quiet gazes.
The class looked at the spectacle with interest.
’’Class, settle down!" Jenny furrowed her brows.
After Kade settled in his seat, Jenny spoke up again, ’’So today, I...’’
Another person appeared at the entrance, cutting Jenny off again.
Seeing Ruby, Ella’s eyes lit up.
Kade, who was glaring at her, curled his lips in disgust.
He had thought he was despicable shit of a man already. Then he t this woman!
And suddenly, he was like a god in his own eyes.
Jenny frowned, ’’Ruby, is this the ti to enter the class? Do you have a sense of ti or respect for your professor?"
Ella’s brows furrowed.
Jenny did not say a single word to Kade despite her dissatisfaction. It only ant she knew of his identity that seed to be a secret for the students here.
But knowing the King family’s ways, the professors probably knew of Kade as a mber of the branch family. The King family would not easily reveal his true identity.
So, although Ruby already had a prestigious background, it still couldn’t compare to being a mber of the branch family of Kings.
After Jenny scolded Ruby for a few good minutes, Ruby rely stood there with a cold face, ’’I am sorry, professor.’’
With a placid response, she proceeded to her seat.
Later, Jenny finally finished what she was saying.
She announced a surprise test and the class was taken aback.
Ella sighed when she looked at the question paper.
Sitting next to her, Kade narrowed his eyes as he watched her writing her answers without thinking, just like the last ti.
But last ti, he had thought that she would fail. However, she not only passed, she got the highest scores in the class.
The gears in Kade’s head turned.
Thinking of his brother’s glacier-like face and his frozen cards and then thinking of all his beauties that had left his side, leaving him high and dry, Kade narrowed his eyes and angled his position as he sat.
Unabashedly, he copied Ella’s answers.
Whether Ella noticed it or not, she did not move her paper away.
Kade’s impression of the girl improved by a few points. Atleast, she was a bit reasonable and a tad bit kind.
After the test was over, Jenny’s heels suddenly stopped clicking against the floor.
She paused and then she suddenly scread, ’’What... What is this?"
She looked at her white heels that were covered in black paint and at the puddles of paint that had gone unnoticed by her before as it was covered by the desk by the students.
"Who did this?!"
The entire class looked at Ella unanimously.
’’You... Co with !"
Ella followed the woman out of the class.
’’What do you have to say about that?" Jenny crossed her arms.
’’Nothing.’’
’’So you are accepting your misdeeds? You...’’
"Professor, you saw the paint then you should have seen the student whose clothes were stained with the paint too?" Ella smiled, ’’I am untouched by it yet I was called out of the class without a hint of hesitation on your part. So, what... exactly should I explain?"
Jenny paused, ’’Ella, do you really show no remorse? Are you acting ignorant of the news on forums? Those indecent pictures of you... You really have nothing to say about it all?"
"Those pictures are indeed problematic,’’ Ella sighed.
So problematic that she was actually concerned if Adrian ca across them and if he did, how did he react?
Jenny narrowed her eyes ’’So you admit your faults and...’’
’’Professor, I am a student of the prestigious Imperial university yet my privacy is invaded. Soone actually managed to stalk and click my pictures while I was unaware. This makes one feel very insecure...’’ Suddenly, Ella looked up and a sharp glint flashed in her eyes, ’’Who do you think would do sothing so unethical, Professor?"
