Ella was shocked.
Ella couldn’t open her eyes, but the familiar pain in her limbs told her the truth, she was back in that hellhole. The place where she’d been imprisoned. Where she’d been shot.
She stayed here for more than 2 months yet Adrian had never found this place.
Then, what was he doing here?
"Second Master, Miss Yu... is no more...’’
Ella’s heart trembled.
She recognized Ji Yan’s voice.
"Second Master, you...’’
’’She cannot die,’’ Adrian’s voice burst with sheer adamance.
And in the next mont... Ella felt her body moving.
As if she was being lifted up.

"Did she die?"
"This girl seems quite defective.’’
"We were ordered to threaten her into leaving the city, not to kill her. But with her condition, what if she died without our interference?"
The kidnappers looked at each other, their faces solemn.
The girl lying in the corner of the room was curled up in a ball and her face was as pale as a paper.
Her body trembled endlessly and she was covered in cold sweat from head to toe.
"Is this bitch pretending?" One of the n of the Black Wolf Gang spoke up, ’’Since Boss had personally asked us to deal with the redhead, let’s do that first. As for this bitch, two of you can stay here and keep your eyes on her.’’
’’But the redhead was struck unconscious by us. She got all noisy and fussy when this fatty acted up!"
’’Haha! We can just wake her up for the fun then.’’
Two n stayed in the room while the others left.
’’Hey, look...’’ One of the n called out the other when Ella slumped on the floor completely.
Ella looked at them, her eyes confused and bloodshot.
"What... What are you doing? Ahhhh... Leave !" Ruby’s soft voice was followed by a heart-wrenching scream.
Ella’s body moved on its instinct.
She stood up to leave but before she could take a single step, she was captured by both the n.
An overwhelming scent of alcohol and sweat assaulted her nose, bewildering her consciousness.
"Ha! So you were pretending after all!"
Ella’s head lolled forward.
The other man scoffed when she stopped struggling, ’’Once that bitch is dealt with, it will be your turn. Till then, better be obedient and stay put—AHHHHHHHH!"
An ear splitting scream reverberated across the courtyard. The birds resting in the trees flew away.
In the dim light of the room, one could see a man rolling on the floor with his right hand completely gone limp.
The other man imdiately turned to tackle Ella but just as he had swung his fist, his fist was grabbed by tiny chubby fingers.
The girl looked at him with bloody eyes and in the next mont—
’Crack’
"AHHH!"
’’Capture her!"
"Take this bitch down. Quick!"
More n rushed inside the room.
Ella stood there with her head lowered and her eyes upturned as she looked at them emotionlessly.
Just as one of those n was about to reach Ella, the sound of a gunshot reverberated inside the courtyard.
And a cold body dropped at Ella’s feet with a ’thump’
"You... Who are you people?"
’Bang Bang Bang Bang’
A group of n rushed in wordlessly. The only sound that could be heard was the consecutive sounds of gunshots.
In no more than a few minutes, the courtyard had gone completely quiet.
In front of Ella, a small group of few people stood with their heads lowered.
One of them stepped forward and dropped to his knees, ’’We are sorry for being late, Miss Yu...’’
Hearing no response from the girl, the man raised his head.
Ella t his gaze as she walked forward, step by step.
The rest of the n glanced at each other before looking at Ella.
Suddenly, Ella reached out towards the man.
In the next mont—
"AHH!"
The man was clutched by his hair and pulled up.
"Die!" Ella’s eyes turned bloodshot.

In a mysterious black sedan.
’Woof...’
The atmosphere was so depressing that Riri’s bark faded before it could start.
Ji Yan dared not to breathe.
’’Second Master, I had asked the shadow guards to track Miss Yu down."
Adrian’s face was covered in a layer of frost, ’’Did they find her yet?"
Ji Yan gulped, ’’They only sent the location of the gang that had kidnapped Miss Yu. After that, I have yet to hear back from them. They are probably in the middle of the mission."
A cold wave encased the car and icicles seed to gather around Ji Yan.
The entire way, Ji Yan felt like he was dangling in front of God of Death.
After an hour or so, the car pulled up in front of an abandoned courtyard.
’Screech’
Ji Yan jerked the car to the side in a drift as a flashy Maybach blocked his path.
’’Dr. Knight?"
Ronan had just stepped out of the car when he spotted Ji Yan and then Adrian who alighted the car, ’’What are you doing here? Didn’t you go to A country for that event?"
Adrian’s steps never halted.
Instead, he walked past Ronan with larger strides.
Ronan glanced at Ji Yan.
Ji Yan motioned a slash across his neck.
Adrian’s footsteps never halted after he entered the courtyard.
His keen ears followed the sound of indistinct groans in the distance.
And soon, he stood in front of a dimly lit room.
The door was half ajar.
At this mont, Ji Yan finally managed to chase up to Adrian, ’’Second Master...’’
’’Cut every finger that has pointed her way...’’ Adrian’s face was enshrouded in a deathly gloom, ’’Burn every man that was involved in this!"
Ji Yan shivered, ’’Yes!"
’Bam’
Adrian kicked the door. Dust burst from the hinges as the wood shattered. Light spilled into the room—along with horror.
However, the scene that he witnessed halted him in his tracks.
Ji Yan, who was following Adrian closely clutched his chest and nearly tumbled over when he saw the situation inside the room.
