"Sis, who is this? Why is he bowing down to you?" Lian Manman deliberately said, "Is it because he stole our stuff, realized his mistake, and is now bowing to apologize?"
"Who’s this wild brat thinking she can hit , the master?" The man with the squint finally noticed Lian Manman. As he cursed, he tried to get up from the ground.
Before he could finish speaking, Lian Manman struck his thigh with a pole again.
"Ouch ouch ouch, you wild girl! Do you even know who I am?"
"Aren’t you just that loser from Xiao Liu Village? Your parents already put the word out; if you make trouble again, they’d rather have soone beat you to death to save trouble." Lian Manman spoke while her pole made consecutive contact with the man’s body.
The man with the squint could only cover his head and face with his hands, unable to find the chance to get up.
"Sis, forget about the peanuts, grab a weapon and hit him!" Lian Manman called out to Lian Zhizhi.
Given that both Lian Shouxin and Lady Zhang were people of calm temperants, they had always taught their children to treat others with kindness and deference. Not to ntion Lian Zhizhi, a young girl; even Wu Lang and Xiao Qi hadn’t been in fights. Of course, the incident with Lian Xiuer was an exception.
The ergence and actions of Lian Manman not only boosted morale but also set an example for them.
Lian Zhizhi first put down the basket she was holding, turned around, and grabbed a spare wooden stick from a nearby stall to hit the young man. The squint-eyed man couldn’t raise his body or head and could only groan in pain, his words incoherent.
"Sis, keep hitting him, don’t let him get up," Lian Manman told Lian Zhizhi, then turned to help Wu Lang and Xiao Qi.
"Oh no, Sixth Master, are you all right? Have you lost your minds to dare hit Sixth Master?"
Tuozi saw the man with the squint being beaten and shouted as he tried to shake off Wu Lang and Xiao Qi to help the man. Wu Lang and Xiao Qi weren’t about to let him go; if they did, Lian Manman and Lian Zhizhi might be at a disadvantage.
As they struggled, Tuozi turned his head and saw Lian Manman coming. He had seen so of what Lian Manman did to the man with the squint, which made him panic even more.
"You two little brats, let go at once!"
Wu Lang and Xiao Qi naturally didn’t release him.
By this ti, Lian Manman had already reached Tuozi’s back. Wu Lang and Xiao Qi were entangled with Tuozi, and hitting Tuozi’s legs might accidentally injure the two boys.
Tuozi wasn’t tall, but he was quite stout, certainly stronger than the man with the squint. Lian Manman saw Tuozi’s fat backside wiggling, had an idea, imdiately rotated the pole ninety degrees, and aid one end of it at Tuozi’s buttocks.
"Aiya, mama!" Tuozi let out a strange cry, bounced up, and after landing, froze there, his face contorted, both hands clutching his buttocks, looking extrely odd.
Wu Lang and Xiao Qi smartly stepped aside. Seeing Tuozi frozen, Xiao Qi, rembering the humiliation he had just suffered, kicked Tuozi.
"You should kick like this." Lian Manman walked over and kicked Tuozi’s buttocks.
Tuozi let out another pitiful scream and fell flat on his face.
Laughter erupted from the crowd around them.
Lian Manman went over to Xiao Qi.
"Xiao Qi, are you okay? Did he hurt you? Wherever he hurt you, we’ll hit him back twice as hard," Lian Manman said, then looked at Wu Lang, "Bro, how about you?"
"I’m fine." Wu Lang touched the corner of his bleeding mouth and said flatly.
"He choked , it was so uncomfortable." Xiao Qi, not having the machismo of Wu Lang, imdiately complained to Lian Manman.
"We’ll hit him back." Without a second word, Lian Manman lifted the pole and started beating Tuozi again, who at this ti had no strength left to resist and was simply howling in pain, hugging his buttocks.
"Young lady, young lady." The old man finally got up from the ground and ca over to persuade Lian Manman. "Stop beating him. If you keep it up, things could get serious."
Lian Manman saw that both Tuozi and the squint-eyed man were beaten to a pulp and could no longer act tough, so she stopped.
Seeing Lian Manman stop, Tuozi struggled to get up and went to help the squint-eyed man.
"Sixth Master, hey Sixth Master." Tuozi, awkwardly standing there, supported the man.
Looking ragged, both of the n realized that staying any longer would not bring them any good.
"We’re not done with this matter yet," the squint-eyed man left a threatening comnt and limped away with Tuozi’s support.
Lian Manman wiped off her sweat and asked exactly what had happened.
