Suddenly, Ji Xiang ca in to report that the steward in front had co to say Shen Liu had returned!
"Huh, wasn’t he supposed to arrive tomorrow?" Lian Manman exclaid in surprise.
The ssage sent by Shen Liu’s people to Shen San ntioned they would arrive in the Prefecture City by mid-morning tomorrow, which had to be accurate. Yet he returned a whole night early—could there be sothing urgent?
Lian Manman thought about this, and Wu Lang did too, and the siblings exchanged a glance, both feeling slightly anxious.
