"Oh my," Lian Manman covered her face, feigned shyness, and stood up annoyed, interrupting Lian Huahua’s words. "Sister Huahua, how co you beca so shaless after getting married?"
Everyone in the room burst into laughter.
A little girl, upon hearing such matters, might overreact, and nobody would think much of it. Even if Lian Manman called Lian Huahua shaless, Lian Huahua shouldn’t have taken it seriously.
"Manman is still young, look, she’s embarrassed now. Huahua, you were rash, especially with so many people around," Lady Chiang said with a smile.
Just then, the servants brought in the dishes, everyone took their places on the kang and began to eat, and no one continued the topic.
