Woo Sangou’s wife was reluctant to leave; after stepping out, she turned back to look one more ti.

"She looks ordinary, but she has a pair of beautiful eyes," Lian Manman murmured to herself. Upon closer inspection, Woo Sangou’s wife actually had so beauty, which was rely concealed by the despair in her expression and her ragged clothes. That backward glance just now even had a hint of charm.
After sending away Woo Sangou’s wife, Lian Manman, Lady Zhang, Lady Zhao, and Lian Yeye headed toward the main house. Back in the courtyard’s eastern room, on the heated brick bed, Lady Li was working with Zhang Caiyun and Lian Zhizhi on sewing. After talking about He Laoliu’s wife, they moved on to discuss Woo Sangou’s wife.
"Mother, why did Woo Sangou’s wife also co over? Their family already got those grains for nothing, are they still not satisfied?" Lian Manman asked Lady Zhang.
Not to ntion anything else, just from selling those few hundred pounds of peanuts, there should be enough pocket money for a family.

Lian Manman gathered from Lady Zhang’s words that she never intended to hire Woo Sangou’s wife but just didn’t want to reject her outright, so she felt sowhat relieved.

Lian Manman lost interest after hearing this. These two people who ca today claid to be their relatives. He Laoliu’s wife could be considered connected, a relative in a roundabout way. As for the Woo Family, Lian Manman had asked Lian Shouxin in detail before. The Woo Family had no relation to the Lian Family; Old Master Lian settled in Thirty Mile Camp and wanted to lease out so land when the Woo Family ca knocking, trying to form a kinship with the Lian Family, but in fact, they had no actual ties and hadn’t associated at all over the years.
