Loud humming sounds reverberated as soldiers entered military transports, booting them to life as the war machines rose into the sky in preparation for a night assault by the Federation Army.
No one knew what went wrong, but the alarm was all they needed to hear to enter maximum battle state.

High density ADE erupted from different parts of the military base!
Major Potter, the third D Rank NetRunner of the rebel army was the one to arrive first as he traced the location of the anomaly instantly from the signal being transmitted from the leader of the special squad.
He directly arrived in front of the General’s room almost instantly after the alarm rang through Neural Projection. At the sa ti, he transmitted coordinates to the other Lieutenants.
Major Lawrence arrived next as closest to the General’s room, with a burst of speed through tabolic Overdrive, he arrived.
His whole body glowed with violent orange ADE, rising into the sky as he held his massive sword, ready to cut any assassin in two!
And then the others arrived.

With a burst of speed by combining Pulse Dash and Overdrive Mode, Major Garfield and Major ndez, the two D Rank Cyber Gladiators of the rebel army arrived almost instantaneously.
They all first looked at the door of the General, then they all looked towards the leader of the special squad who imdiately pointed at Major Kai.
"Sothing is wrong with him!" He accused.
Being extrely experienced combatants themselves, the 4 Lieutenants reacted instantly as they moved away from Major Kai while also surrounding him in a circular death formation.
They were ready to kill him if needed!
It didn’t matter that he was the second in command of the rebel army. If he betrayed the Freegrid Collective, they wouldn’t hesitate to kill him.
Seeing the sudden escalation of the situation as he was encircled, Major Kai exhaled in frustration and resignation.
"Where’s the General?" Major Lawrence questioned coldly in a hot-blooded manner, his eyes glowing with a violent orange light.
Major Kai shrugged, then he pointed at the room. "He’s inside".
Even in this situation, he was still trying to buy ti to delay the outburst of the truth as much as he could.
Hearing what he said, the 4 Lieutenants furrowed their brows but they didn’t dare take their eyes away from him as they watched his every movent.
It was the leader of the special squad who spoke up.
"Sothing is wrong with the General!" He said in a tone of urgency. "He didn’t detect our presence even after we opened the door to his room, and now, even with the alarm ringing, he’s yet to co out!"
That was all the confirmation that they needed.
"Don’t move!" Major Garfield said coldly as he left Kai to his 3 comrades, decisively moving towards the General’s room.
He pushed the reinforced tal door open then he stord inside the room.
The mont he set his eyes on the General’s bed, his eyes constricted. "It’s not the General, it’s a robot!"
Major Garfield charged outside and instantly, there was an explosion of ADE.

Surrounding Major Kai, the combined ADE of the 4 D Rank Ascended surged into the sky amid sounds like thunder, rendering the clouds apart even as they drew their weapons and were ready to murder Kai right there!
Major Kai finally raised his hands in surrender.
"Speak!" Garfield demanded coldly.
With his hands raised, Major Kai looked at Garfield and sighed with a look of resignation on his face.
He knew he could no longer afford to stall, any unsatisfactory answer and his 4 comrades would not hesitate to kill him right there.
"The General has started his C Rank Ascended Trial".

For a mont, the 4 Lieutenants felt like a bolt of lightning just ignited in their brain and finally, they understood what was happening.
Instantly, the expression on their faces changed.
Almost at the sa ti, their enhanced D Rank Ascended perception detected a stir in the clouds faraway in the distance outside the city.
They looked at each other and the sa thought rang in their heads. ’The Federation Army!’
The mont the main military base in Iron Reef suddenly erupted with warning alarms ringing, General Sylvari Charr who was far away noticed and instantly, the Federation General felt a bad premonition.

The 4 Lieutenants of the rebel army looked at Major Kai with silent questions in their eyes but they didn’t ask because they knew that the situation already escalated and this was not the ti for asking questions, this was the ti for war!
The leader of the special squad also realized what was happening as his eyes widened in horror and regret.
But it was too late for regrets.
As their minds reeled, Major Kai took a step forward and finally took on the position as the interim leader of Iron Reef in General Ren Nora’s absence.
With a cold look on his face and with violent neon green ADE beginning to flare around his body, he ordered coldly. "Unleash the Purgatory!"

The entirety of Iron Reef suddenly humd with powerful radioactive energy like a Dragon just awoke from a slumber as thick green pillars of ADE snaked into the sky like slithering serpents!
The pillars of ADE in the sky converged, drawing on the power of the city’s aerial defense grid and projecting what looked like an illusory electronic circuit into the atmosphere above Iron Reef.
The sky turned into a giant complicated neural electronic circuit, and then the cyber world overlapped with reality!
