Wang Yiyi was also baffled at his actions; however, she didn’t care and just snorted angrily.
Even though she was forced to follow him, she had no intentions to really tag along. All she needed now was an opportunity to escape, and thus she waited for him to fight with so beast or fall into so trap.
Ye Chen knew what was going on in her little head; however, he ignored her and looked into the distance.
"Xiao i, there are so many of my admirers following ; how could I not stop and say hi to them?" He replied with a faint smile.
Hearing his words, Li i and Wang Yiyi couldn’t help but beco shocked, and they imdiately went into battle mode.
They didn’t believe Ye Chen would have admirers after how much he showed off in the auction. Not to ntion they weren’t blind and could feel the ill-intended gazes from disciples.
"Bad guy, tell where they are; I will go and smash their bones with my whip," Wang Yiyi stated with a cold look and started to move forward, hoping to escape in troubled waters.
However, no matter how much she walked and ran, she remained still in her place.
Looking back, she found it was Li i who lifted her up like a cat.
"You aren’t going anywhere, so obediently stay in your place," Li i stated with a stern look.
In her eyes, Wang Yiyi was just a little girl and was not even as strong as her. So how could she allow her to go alone and fight with others?
Moreover, she was aware of her thoughts of escaping, so she couldn’t allow herself to go alone even more.

"Aren’t those three old n worrying too much? I am not so child who doesn’t know their limits," Ye Chen replied with a helpless look.
"Well, you can just tag along with ; as for others, let them go to the mystic pond; I won’t need their help," he added.
Hearing this, Su Ying was stunned, but she didn’t hesitate and did what she was told.
It’s not like she was confident in his strength but the life-saving treasures she had. It might be a loss to use them now, but she didn’t care since he was the reason she was able to cultivate.
Just as she inford the three groups, low sounds of rustling were heard from the way they ca in.
Everyone’s gaze couldn’t help but focus on that direction, and soon they saw a group of fifteen to twenty disciples running in towards them with anger.

A few male disciples who were injured shouted with hatred.

"Ye Chen, hand out all your treasures as well as inheritance for tricking us!" one of the male disciples stated with a ferocious look.
While others stood behind him, agreeing with his words. Clearly, he was the leader.
"Oh? What will happen if I don’t do it?" Ye Chen asked while secretly gesturing for Su Ying and Li i to stay alert.
"Haha, what will happen? Of course I will dismber you into pieces!" the disciple sneered coldly.
In response, Ye Chen took out his sword and walked forward with a smile.
"You and the disciples behind you are just from so third-grade sects? Yet to have this much arrogance, don’t tell you really think defeating is child’s play?" he said with disdain.
Watching him like this, the male disciple’s face couldn’t help but sink.
"Humph! It’s not arrogance but strength, and since you don’t have this to keep the treasures and inheritance, it would be mine from now on!" He replied, his eyes flashing with greed.
Shing!
"Who said I don’t have the strength to keep it?" Ye Chen spoke with a chilling look as he watched the horrified eyes of the male disciple whose head was separated.
Behind him the male disciples didn’t expect this, and they were all shocked.
"Hurry and attack together; also, go get the girls first!"
Soone shouted with a sinister look.
Shing! Shing! Shing!
A few more sounds of sword slashing rang out, followed by a few thuds as the headless bodies fell on the ground without any support.
’What a disappointnt,’ Ye Chen couldn’t help but shake his head with a helpless look as he killed every one of them easily.
He was very excited after knowing he would be able to fight with disciples, but seeing all of them running away for their lives after watching the deaths of fellow disciples, his excitent washed over.
Although he didn’t expect too much from them, he at least hoped they could fight against him with numbers.
’Well, there are more admirers; I just have to wait,’ he consoled himself and got back to his place.
"Xiao i, are you afraid?" He inquired with a smile as he saw her being silent.
Even Wang Yiyi, who was arrogant, couldn’t help but display so fear after witnessing him reap lives without any shred of emotion.
Only Su Ying was the calr one; however, she still was surprised at how Ye Chen handled things. He was, after all, too young, unlike her, who lived a few decades.
"Senior brother, why didn’t you let go of those who wanted to run away?" Li i couldn’t help but ask after a mont of silence.
She didn’t care if he killed his enemies; however, to kill those who had already given up was a bit too much for her, especially since she wasn’t exposed to such things.
"Well, Xiao i, do you know the war? All the soldiers kill the enemy soldiers, right? So, is there sothing wrong with it?" Ye Chen didn’t reply and inquired with a smile.
Hearing him Li i was stunned, and just as she was thinking, Ye Chen continued without her answer.
"In the war, you will encounter many who never killed anyone, are kind, have kids, a wife, and a family to look after, yet this all didn’t matter once you were on the battlefield. Do you know why?"
"Because you are fighting to protect your land, resources, and rights! No matter how many kind people there are, as long as they get over your land, everything will change. Your rights, people close to you, and even yourself will end up in the worst situation."
