Seeing Luo Qiao’s displeased expression, Lu Yichen explained, “We were in the same unit and met a few times. I ran into him in Ji City before; he told me he’d been working in the Housing Management Bureau after his discharge.
You mentioned wanting to buy a house, so I thought of him. Did something happen?”
