Luo Qiao walked in and heard Ji Lin plaining. She put her index finger to her lips and ‘shushed’ to see what else she might say.
Ji Lin took her cup and sipped a bit of tea: “When will she recruit an all-round talent for me to help with work? I’m exhausted every day. I need to give her some feedback later.”
Yet, she didn’t hear a response, only strange smiles from their faces, instantly understanding: “Want to eavesdrop on what I’m going to say next, I’m not saying a word.”
She turned around and reached back, but Luo Qiao dodged quickly, just narrowly avoiding being caught.
Then the four of them burst into laughter and playfully argued.
Once they were seated, Ji Lin started, “Did you spot any more talents?”
Luo Qiao smiled, sipping her tea: “They may not necessarily e. I feel people of integrity are rare; having such a person join the pany is reassuring.”
The servers gradually served the dishes and the four chatted while eating.

Luo Qiao put down her chopsticks: “One to Peking University Law School, the other to Beijing Foreign Studies University.”
Ji Lin stretched out her hands and gave a thumbs up: “Impressive.”
When everyone had almost finished eating, Luo Qiao stood up to pay the bill, and two people entered at the door.
As soon as Luo Qiao finished settling the bill, Ji Lin was confronting the newers over there.
Luo Qiao took her change and quickly ran over: “What’s going on here?”
Ji Lin, with a cold face, pointed at the man opposite: “That’s the one from my sister-in-law’s family.”
Now, she was so angry she didn’t even want to call him brother-in-law.
She took out her phone, preparing to make a call. The man across nervously said: “Ji Lin, please don’t call your sister, she’s not in good health lately. Don’t stress her out.”
Ji Lin’s eyes were full of mockery: “Trying to play the victim, are you? What are you doing now?”
Kang Chengquan, a bit flustered, said: “We just happened to meet and decided to have a meal together unexpectedly, who knew we’d run into you here.”
