Big Brother and Second Brother each took a basin. The enamel basin was large, half filled with meat dumplings and half with vegetarian. The cooked dumplings were easy to distinguish. She thought of letting Second Brother share it with the dormitory mates he got along well with, while those for Big Brother would surely be eaten with the Yue Family—hehe!
Lu Yichen got two basins, one with meat dumplings and one with vegetarian, thinking they could all enjoy a feast. Each was tied up with cheesecloth, then packed into a clean cloth bag and fastened to the bicycle.
To make things easier, Luo Qiao had brought out her women’s 26-inch bicycle from her space a few days earlier, making trips out more convenient after passing the main road.
Grandpa helped her tie the basins on the bike, and Grandma insisted she eat a few dumplings to fill her stomach. After she had eaten enough, Grandpa had finished securing everything on the bike.
She first found Big Brother and delivered a basin to the practice room, telling him to take it to the teacher’s place to share after classes. After making sure the instructions were clear, she hurried off.
She had to find Second Brother soon too, lest she missed him after his classes. Riding her bike to the base of the teaching building, she saw students starting to e out. Soon, she spotted Luo Xuyuan.
Perhaps there was some sibling telepathy, because just as Luo Qiao was about to call out, she saw Luo Xuyuan looking her way. She waved and called out with a smile, “Second Brother.”
This call of “Second Brother” drew the attention of many of the classmates.
